Let Love In or Abbatoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus. Or something else. You pretty much can't go wrong.

No More Shall We Part

if you like his quieter more piano-oriented stuff
When I saw him last summer, he was pretty damn good. Was he just lacking in energy?
Yeah basically. Like sgrevs said before, it even seemed like he was sick or something. His voice was a bit off and he kept missing parts of lyrics.
I caught the last 10 minutes of Jarvis, and he sounded really good.

My friend bought that shirt as well, its a sick shirt, I wanted to buy the other Rapture shirt but i didn't feel like dishing out $40 for it.

The guy in Beck's band who did keys/percussion/dancing was one of the best men ever, and I would happily marry him. he totally stole the show, not that there was much to steal.
Hmm, I don't recall that dude, but then, there are reasons why I wouldn't remember.

KEITH RICHARDS QUOTE:

"The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father."

"He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared," he said. "... It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."

hahahahahahaha

thx bb

I wish I had the full tracks but I have no idea what happened to them

Eliminator 04-04-2007 06:32 PM

The band I'm in now sucks. Been wanting to get out of it for awhile and just work on my own music or a new band, but I can't get myself to quit because I'm friends with all the people..

JuggerKnoT 04-04-2007 06:34 PM

tell them u sniffed paint and now u can't play nemore

metalicajaymz 04-04-2007 06:34 PM

my last band sucked and we all knew, but I was friends with all the people too. Eventually I told them that we weren't writing anything good and that I was quitting after our next show. They were all "ok," and now we make fun of each other about that band. So do it, because it's surprisingly easy.

Eliminator 04-04-2007 06:35 PM

The other guitarist thinks the music is awesome. His ego is pretty lol.

I'm getting a drum set tomorrow, so hopefully that will lead to doing more music that doesn't blow.

JuggerKnoT 04-04-2007 06:35 PM

and then eat sandwiches :)
and then eat sandwiches :)
No.

That would be amazingly gay.

sgrevs 04-04-2007 06:59 PM

My band atm is pretty shitty because we don't get much time to jam and write and stuff because of school, but next year when we're all finished, we're gonna blow your fucking brains out.

Neoteric 04-04-2007 07:07 PM

My band aren't doing that well right now, the drummer and I are not getting along.

pulseczar 04-04-2007 07:11 PM

i've formed a loose musical collective with some friends, we will be an all-star power group in the vein of wu-tang clan/broken social scene/chumbawumba and will rock the world by 2010.

Glitterati 04-04-2007 07:32 PM

Apparently my school counselor plays the tambourine.

This is funny to me because if you ever saw him he's kinda husky and has a walrus moustache.

ATM 04-04-2007 07:46 PM

How do you not play the tambourine?

Robert Crumb 04-04-2007 08:36 PM

I'm not in a band but I play tambourine not in a band.

biografiend 04-04-2007 09:26 PM

I think my friend and I are going to kick out the jamz and actually record over easter break. So far, we've been working on a collective entitled "DRUMBONES" made up of he on drums and me on trombone duh.

should be interesting, I might post it up.
I listened to the new 65daysofstatic, and I'm pretty disappointed.
I thought it was pretty good. It's a completely different sound, though. It kind of sounds like Sigur Ros on speed for the first half of the album, and then more back to their electronic stuff for the second half.

I don't know, I enjoyed it. I liked it better than One Time For All Time.

Boilermaker 04-05-2007 07:44 AM

My bands doing OK.

We played one show, and we're lining up gigs. I guess I like the music that we play, but there is some room for improvement I guess.
