It's so hard to find their stuff. I only found one link total on google blog search for Day of Reckoning. Relentless was a bit easier.

pate 01-11-2008 10:32 PM

Day of Reckoning slays Relentless.

gmoneyguy 01-11-2008 10:35 PM

Pentagram is essential home slice.

NemesisDivina 01-11-2008 10:36 PM

Burning Savior is such a kickass song. A lot of the songs on DoR are really catchy and have more of a drive than Relentless does.
Pentagram is essential home slice.
Which releases do you have?

gmoneyguy 01-11-2008 10:49 PM

Bias Recording Studio Demos and Demos '71-'72

jrowa001 01-11-2008 10:58 PM

i have been on a Evoken kick today. Antithesis of Light this morning, A Caress of the Void this afternoon, and now i am playing Quietus. i just love this band. i still need to get their first 2 albums

Alf™ 01-12-2008 02:00 AM

hi guitrguy, qotsa isn't stoner metal!

gmoneyguy 01-12-2008 02:03 AM

its close enough, especially with their relation to kyuss.

Alf™ 01-12-2008 04:58 AM

Kyuss was not stoner metal! I love them both though. Queens are my favourite band and I am obsessed.
I like my lungs like my metal, black!
I like my nu metal the way I like my women; sucky and performed by under age people.

Beuh, nu metal.

Anyway:
Listening to Monolithe, I was quite big on these guys a while back.
Great monolitic funeral doom from France.
One hour long tracks.
Sweet.

A Carres Of The Void is high on my yearlist of 2007. :)

Pentagram are really boring.

repcak 01-12-2008 09:57 AM

the news about Nadja sound interesting... i hope they will come to vienna too!
Pentagram are really boring.
Not really

Bordello 01-12-2008 01:47 PM

I'm not really into that style. I like Witchcraft a little more though.

gmoneyguy 01-12-2008 02:05 PM
Not really
what he said.

Speaking of Pentagram:

this is a venue that I go to all the time

Alf™ 01-13-2008 05:44 AM

Pretty exciting news here:

Yawning Man will be releasing Vista Point, which comes out on January 22nd. It is reissue of Yawning Mans 2 albums (Rock Formations and Pot Head) on CD, in a jewel case with 12-page full-colour booklet, on glossy paper stock from Australia's Lexicon Devil Records.

Also, the next progression of Yawning Man: Dark Tooth Encounter. New drummer and a slightly different sound. Australia`s Lexicon Devil Records will be releasing the band`s debut this year.

Lexicon Devil Records finishes the trifecta with a new Ten East album, which will probably be a split with Fatso Jetson.

I am ecstatic with this news.

AlienEater 01-13-2008 06:43 AM

oh ****ing awesome new material from fatso jetson and ten east. fatso jetson are so good

Alf™ 01-13-2008 04:58 PM

Actually it might just be new material from Ten East with members from Fatso Jetson. Not sure, it is unclear.

Txus 01-13-2008 05:14 PM

New Dead Meadow is ****ing great!

ATM 01-13-2008 11:04 PM

Argh, I need to hear it.

They should really play in DC, but they are skipping it on their tour :(

NemesisDivina 01-13-2008 11:23 PM

Trouble rules. I've been listening to Psalm 9 for the past few days and I just got Simple Mind Condition today. I'm likin' both of them a lot, but Psalm 9 is definitely better. Trouble was number two on my list of bands to check out.

Niflheim II 01-13-2008 11:25 PM

i dont listen to trouble because they are christian

I lost the password to that album you sent me because I closed the conversation window. :p What was it again?

Except not rly.

oh. well Ten East are still pretty cool. they have Greg Ginn on bass now instead of Brant Bjork I think.
New Dead Meadow is ****ing great!
How does it compare to the rest?

Stormrider 01-14-2008 02:57 PM
Except not rly.
Yeah. Someone who read an interview fromt hem told me the band themselves said they're not christian. They read the bible while tripping on lsd, and there you have their lyrics.

Something like that. I haven't read the interview.

gmoneyguy 01-14-2008 03:24 PM

I've read a few times about them being mislabeled. Idc either way because I don't pay much attention to their lyrics. The vox and instruments are what I like.

Txus 01-14-2008 03:55 PM
They read the bible while tripping on lsd, and there you have their lyrics.
THAT'S ****ING AWESOME! haha
How does it compare to the rest?
It's not heavy as the past albums, more mellow and ****. Veryyyy good.

Still, Feathers >>>>>>> the rest
