That Caliente is pretty fucking sexy, as bikes go.
Muy Caliente, indeed.

Actually, I think it's a pretty ugly bike, but that doesn't matter.

This is my prized garbage picked bike. That is a beautiful schwinn, and I barely had to fix it up.

coheneran 06-05-2006 05:52 PM

Meh, I prefer the Cailiente. How much for post and package to the UK?:p

asdf 06-05-2006 06:05 PM

Haha. Much more than that bike is worth.

Besides, who knows what's going to happen to it. It might either become part of my crazy tall bike experiment, I might use it for parts (specifically seat stem and kick stand), or I might just clean it up and sell it at a garage sale.

SantaDuJuan 06-05-2006 06:11 PM

Uh, make a big Latino bike.

ratsinthecity403 06-05-2006 09:38 PM

huh...all the Latino kids at my school have tiny bikes.

Oh, neat. I like the lyrics a lot more now.

I think, against your better judgement, I'm going to put them on there.

ratsinthecity403 06-05-2006 09:47 PM

I think it would be nice with the lyrics...I like those four lines, personally.

I think of making a shirt for the Scottish Games in September.

Ideally I'd like to make a stencil of this flag on the front.

But that may be hard, so I may just the St. Andrew's Cross flag

On the back will probably be the words "Scots Wha Hae" and maybe some words from the actual poem.

Sound like a good idea? Any suggestions?

iam2000pounds 06-05-2006 11:00 PM

You could probably make that flag in a two layer stencil.

Anarcho Poser 06-05-2006 11:39 PM

Yeah, it wouldn't be too hard at all to make that flag into a two layered stencil. Hell, you could probably do it in one layer if you were feeling really lazy. The lion would lose detail, though.

I love the poem, and you could make the lion flag easy if you put in a bridge at each corner of the square.

good rats 06-06-2006 03:50 AM

A single layer would be easier. Just chuck in some bridge here and there and you're set.

coheneran 06-06-2006 11:10 AM

I made a flyer for the Ghost Mice gig I'm organising, but tinypic would only take .tif and Photoshop won't let me change a .psd to a .bmp so all the colours are off and you can't make out details, but here it is:

http://i5.tinypic.com/11ug57q.jpg

Originally, the background was grayscaled and the three mice were in negative colours. GHOST MICE is supposed to be in green and the writing underneath was a brighter pink. If anyone knows how to convert .psd files into .bmp or .jpg files, please tell me.

Liebensaft 06-06-2006 01:59 PM

How about opening the picture in photoshop and then saving it as a .jpg?

coheneran 06-06-2006 02:15 PM
How about opening the picture in photoshop and then saving it as a .jpg?
Gee, why didn't I think of that? It's so ingenius in it's simplicity.

SantaDuJuan 06-06-2006 08:40 PM

The flyer didn't seem exciting to me.

Does any one have any links to a file i can download to get stencil words on to my Microsoft works.(cheap version of microsoft word)

Also if some one has the link, what font size is the best to be used for a stencil. Im thinking of putting the lyrics on to the back. there are only about 10-15 lines. Its for the song Kill Your Television. ive finally got around to making the shirt.

coheneran 06-08-2006 05:07 AM
