The problem with CD reviews... is that people only review CDs that they like.

Or that they really don't like.

Even with the albums I really like, I just can't find myself giving out a perfect score.

I usually just take the ratings straight from my RYM page. Only 42 have 5 stars - 105 have 3.5/5, and 122 have 4/5, and 76 each have 3/5 and 4.5/5.

That, in the broadest sense possibly, is the albums I like. And all but 1 of those 42 with 5 stars have already been reviewed. Only Kate Bush left. And Bill Hicks, but he doesn't really count as such.

So I'm not going to be giving any other albums full marks any time soon.

Read my reviews for Static-X, Green Day, or Fear Factory. Those were some CDs laying around the house that I did on a whim and felt were just mediocre.
