Anyone who prefers Based On A True Story over Say It Like You Mean It can not hear properly.

BOATS was pretty good, but SILYMI is one of the greatest pop-punk albums ever.

Vince: :p Crazy R&Mers.

Dead Star 12-13-2005 04:18 PM
lol, the top 4 users of R&M for the year were the mods.
Thats a bit pointless.

cbmartinez 12-13-2005 04:22 PM
Really you think so? I thought it was one of the better ones. I prefer Say It Like You Mean It so much more then Based On A True Story. I thought Based on a True Story was pretty weak overall.
SILYMI is far superior to BOATS but it's actually started to grow on me alot. It's a really good album, it's simply just not as consistent as SILYMI. But I've been craving new The Starting Line for so long that I just can't get enough of the songs on BOATS right now. The new songs are contructed better and the instruments have gotten better but they really cut down on the vocal harmonies which was the defining factor of SILYMI for me. Like I said, good album just had a couple misses compared to SILYMI where every track was great.

Untitled 12-13-2005 04:29 PM

Bahh, Brian Lara Cricket is too easy. I just beat pakistan on it in by an inning and 60runs, on the hardest level.

Dead Star 12-13-2005 04:32 PM

Is it just me or has MXtabs died.

Doesn't work for me either.

DepthsOfDreams555 12-13-2005 04:38 PM

I am not going to see The Academy Is anymore cause they took it off the tour.....I am looking to go to another show. Anyone have any suggestions?

Mute Print 12-13-2005 04:42 PM

I'm going to see The Academy Is... :D I can't wait.

I suggest seeing if The Starting Line, Copeland, Gatsby's American Dream, Cartel tour has any nearby stops.

Haha that was the only other show I was thinking about going to see....any other suggestions haha?

The show in Chicago for that tour is at The House of Blues and I can't get in there.

I've seen all three bands, and they're all really good live.
Haha that was the only other show I was thinking about going to see....any other suggestions haha?
Haha, funny that I should pick the only other show you have lined up.

I also suggest Less Than Jake and A Wilhelm Scream. Even if you don't really like ska, I've heard Less Than Jake is incredible live. A Wilhelm Scream is unbelievable as well.
The show in Chicago for that tour is at The House of Blues and I can't get in there.
That really sucks. Is it not an all ages venue?

Pazz 12-13-2005 04:48 PM

I want to see The Academy Is... . Aren't they touringwith Panic! At theDisco?

Also, today at school a kid in my Careers class asked me if I knew who PatD was. I told him I did and he started going on about them. It was quite funny. Now it seems like everyone is listening to them. Ok, 3 people that I know of.

Mute Print 12-13-2005 04:49 PM

Yeah, the tour is The Academy Is, Panic! at the Disco, Acceptance, and one other band I think.

I don't know anyone who listens to P!ATD

I didn't think so because when I was going to see Senses Fail and Saves the Day there it said you had to have a valid photo ID. I just looked at The House of Blues show in Chicago for The Academy Is... show and it doesn't say anythign about an ID. I will go to that if thats the case. I am going to make sure I don't need an ID first though.

I love Panic! and the other band is Hellogoodbye.

Pazz 12-13-2005 04:51 PM

2 people in my first period listen to them and the one kid has other people listening to it know.

Around here, most venues say 16+ w/ ID. I can't say I've ever seen them check IDs for anyone unless they are 21+ and want to drink.
the other band is Hellogoodbye.
Oh right. They're really good to. They were a lot of fun the first time I saw them, but I didn't know their music.

cbmartinez 12-13-2005 04:54 PM

Definitely looking into that TSL/Cartel gig.

I'm not 16.

I'll have to get my tickets one of these days too.
I'm not 16.
I know, neither am I. I have never seen a club check IDs for 16 year olds before though, and all shows around here are technically 16+ w/ ID.

Permanent Solution 12-13-2005 04:59 PM

I'm almost old enough for any venue

So I just browsed every show coming through Colorado while I'm there over break and there were precisely 0 even decent ones. That sucks. I wanted to go to a show, especially with Gaby :(

Oooo well okay sweet. I mean I still want to check because I don't want them to get there and be like oooo no ID you can't come in.

Mute Print 12-13-2005 05:02 PM

Your best bet is probably to give them a call before you buy tickets. I could be wrong, but I doubt they really check IDs for 16 year olds. It seems like a waste of time, since being 16 is really no different than 14 or 15.

Pazz 12-13-2005 05:03 PM

The concert I went to was all ages, so I didn't have to worry about them checking IDs.

Dead Star 12-13-2005 05:10 PM

Lawl, I better book my Less Than Jake tickets soon.

Thats what I am going to do....I am pumped though. I really want to go to this show.

Hey, think someone can help me out? I've got this project I gotta do, where we have to design a product, real or imaginary and make an advertisement type thing. So I made this guitar on the net and gave it a name and everything. Now, I've gotta have a logo type thing for it's name. It's a Jackson Death Kelly model, so it's got all the wicked angles on it. I gave it the name Jackson Nightmare..I was wondering anyone think they could make me a logo? It's just gotta have the Jackson written thing, and then 'NightMare' written with blood dripping from it. Anyone think they could help me out so much and make this?!?!

So, sup thread? :p

The other day I was thinking about inventing a shovel with like sidewalls on it so the snow doesn't go out on the sides like it always does. I know this doesn't help you but you just reminded me of it.

Permanent Solution 12-13-2005 05:30 PM

Dude guys...I aced (100%) my computer science class.

That's so amazing. I almost passed out when I read it.
