When I call up people about drugs, the conversation is always very direct. There's no frills.

pedro durruti 10-14-2006 06:34 PM

You never know who's listening to you.

AIRIC 10-14-2006 06:35 PM

Like God, for example.

pedro durruti 10-14-2006 06:37 PM

Exactly, I wouldn't doubt if that bastard's responsible for the war on drugs, either.
The second time was the best, I told Nick that Eran was being gay and he banned him and for reason he put "Kevin says you're not funny anymore"
Best ban ever.

Anxious 10-14-2006 08:42 PM

Naw, the Cheeser Ban's were better.

lynch_me 10-14-2006 09:31 PM

Whatever happened to cheeser's lil bro?

Jessizzle 10-14-2006 09:42 PM

I wish he would make a come back.

nah, i went down for a bit, met up with grub and tom (if you know them) then went home for lack of money

Jessizzle 10-14-2006 09:55 PM

I was at the ski show ( rico center), i was gonna swing by round 930.. but i was tired and decided against it.

(r)evolution 10-14-2006 09:57 PM

yeah, i dunno, i saw the crowd and was like... gay. Most of them were like 14 and under. Plus i dont really like the bands that much... and i didnt have money hah.

pedro durruti 10-14-2006 09:58 PM

I decided against AAA (hehe), Bomb the music industry and westbound train, because I had to get drunk.. what I really mean is I didn't feel like spending money on something that I'd be enjoying in two weeks

TakeWarning 10-14-2006 11:39 PM

I have to turn down A Wilhelm Scream, Millencolin and Rise Against becuase they're all 18+.

Liebensaft 10-14-2006 11:44 PM

Latterman on Friday. Woo.

AIRIC 10-15-2006 12:01 AM

Municipal Waste on Friday. Woo (maybe)

Aus Rotten 10-15-2006 01:10 AM

Where you seeing Muni Waste? I've seen them twice... the most fun shows ever!

I'm psyched on Dropdead Oct. 27th! Can't wait! :thumb:

AIRIC 10-15-2006 01:11 AM

I'm seeing them at Northern Lights. And I missed the Dropdead show here :(

Aus Rotten 10-15-2006 01:14 AM

Northern Lights? Sorry, unfamiliar with the venue. Where are you from ?

AIRIC 10-15-2006 01:17 AM

New York. Upstate.

Aus Rotten 10-15-2006 01:17 AM

You're f'ucking kidding! I'm in Binghamton New York now.

AIRIC 10-15-2006 01:18 AM

Nice, I think that's an hour or two from where I am. You know Saratoga? Basically 45 minutes North of Albany.

Aus Rotten 10-15-2006 01:23 AM

Yes sir! I'm currently attending Binghamton University. I know a few people from Saratoga... most of them say it's pretty boring, or something negative of the sorts, hah. Where is Northern Lights? Any venue information would be appriciated. I have a car up here, or could bus it for VERY cheap (Student ID, phew), and i'd like to see Muni Waste anytime/anywhere.

AIRIC 10-15-2006 01:26 AM

http://www.northernlightslive.com/index.html

That's the venue website.

As for Saratoga, I enjoy the area. I like Saratoga but I live in the town next to it. My town isn't so bad to just walk around imo either. I can see how it would get boring though.

Aus Rotten 10-15-2006 01:31 AM

Wow, I would definately go to this show, had it not had a 20 dollar price tag accompanying it. I saw Muni twice in the city for a combined 18 dollars.

That, and i'm trying to save my money up for Dropdead the 27th. Why not just see them the 27th @ North Six in Brooklyn?

pedro durruti 10-15-2006 01:32 AM

I'm missing Bedouin Soundclash, my favorite modern reggae band, and Flogging Molly, my second, or third favorite Irish folk/punk band for the same reason.

AIRIC 10-15-2006 01:34 AM

The chances of me being able to go to Brooklyn are very very slim.

And yeah 20 bucks really sucks.

Aus Rotten 10-15-2006 01:35 AM

Ah, definately try to go if you can! City shows are nuts, the kids are great! I saw Yacopsae/Magrudergrind/Deathcycle/Unholy Grave at North Six a few months ago. Easily the greatest show i've ever seen.

AIRIC 10-15-2006 01:38 AM

Nice. That show sounds awesome. Yacopsae and Magrudergrind in the same show AND Unholy Grave. Great lineup.

pedro durruti 10-15-2006 01:48 AM

Wait, if you guys go to any shows in the city, let me know.

Aus Rotten 10-15-2006 03:12 AM

Greatest show i've ever been to. ****ing ace, front to end. I'm (probably) going to Dropdead on October 27th @ North Six in Brooklyn. Granted, I have enough cash pooled up to make the bus trip. :upset:

are you DUMB peter? that sounds like the best show of life.
ever.
how COULD you decided against it.
i hope you rot in hell.

i would killlllllllll to see BTMI, but im seeing AAA next month, with the know how.

edit: i would like to state that bedioun soundclash are canadian and on the same label as the johnstones.
they also play free shows around here all the time.

Jon 10-15-2006 09:06 AM

I went to a show with Eran and TUKSS last night.

It was all good until:
a) they had like 5 hours of ska
b) some wanker slagged off Jack Straw's statement. YOU ARE STUPID.

IgniteYourAvail 10-15-2006 09:25 AM

As much as it pains me to say it, I'd also love to see BTMI live.

Jessizzle 10-15-2006 09:29 AM

yesss billy, you like BTMI also?
what would your FAVOURITE song be?
mine would either be, im a panic bomb baby, or im tooo coool for music. or Syke! life is awesome.
its a TIE.

IgniteYourAvail 10-15-2006 09:34 AM

I like Congratulations John On Joining Every Time I Die.

Syke! Life Is Awesome is a really good song, too.

Jessizzle 10-15-2006 09:39 AM

good bye cool world> to leave or die in long island

IgniteYourAvail 10-15-2006 09:44 AM

Rong.

Jessizzle 10-15-2006 09:57 AM

Goodbye cool world has more bad songs then to leave or die in long island. BUT, it also has more good songs than to leave or die in long island.

I was loving the ska. But then I would.
Itch was the one talking about Jack Straw I think, ha but then I agreed with that as well.

So overall my night was better than yours.

I'd like to add to the above discussions that I have been sent the new Westbound Train CD to review, I just saw AAA 3 times, and I will be seeing BTMI! at least once in the coming months. Yay to life.

Jon 10-15-2006 11:21 AM

Yeah, the clue's in the name :p

I'm not really a big ska fan, its alright for a bit, but by the end of the night it was just like urghhh.

Also I'll probably lose brownie points for saying this, but APB sent me to sleep. Literally, I had to go and have a bit of a sit down upstairs during their set.

I enjoyed the first few bands though.
