My basses are made in Taiwan and Korea i think. Anything made in the US is uber expensive here. I'm thinking of getting my brother to send me some Avatar cabs. I worked out the shipping on them costs more then the cabs themselves :upset:

Oh well, they are quality cabs. You could be the first Australian to ahve Avatar cabs. Assuming your Australian.

Do you have $1700 to spend on cabs? Do you have any other cabs at the moment? Cause if you have like a 4x10, you could get a 1x15, or just a 2x12 to go with it. But if you dont, then you could get two.

And I sometiems play bass on the forums.

Yep. But i'm thinking 412's might be more for me. It's a **** punchy cab, cuts through like crazy, but doesn't really have the full low end i'm after. I'm going to try it out with my new amp when i get it, and if it's any better then, than i'l keep it. I don't really want to get rid of it, it's a wicked cab, and quite different to what you see out there. I've also been thinking of adding a 4ohm 15" to it. Only thing is i'll need to get a Mesa 400+ for that. So depends what amp i go with.
Aguilar (And Mesa) 412's are tempting though. Big and deep sounding, and thumping goodnes.. I'll see how i go with a 15 or 212 first.

Nah, stayd home, stayed at my mates for a night, went to a whole lot of different music shops another day, spend the whole day at another music shop a different day. I had a pretty good easter break. Yourself?

Aaah ok.

I went to the beach for 5 days.

A 4x12 would sound sweet but they're a bit hard to come across. Other then the two you listed I can only think of SWR that make 4x12's.

ps. Labsystems might make a custom 4x12 for you if you ask them to
