Besides, Effigy has the Title Track, Liege of Inveracity, Infecting the Crypts, Mass Obliteration, Involuntary Slaughter, and Jesus Wept.

It's basically 40 solid minutes of crushing death metal. Not to mention Mullen's vocals are great on it and Terrence and Doug wrote some massively cool riffs that have been imitated by many other bands.

Then just listen to HW. The originals on there are better than on Effigy.

Nah, the only songs I think that Suffo really did better on Human Waste are Jesus Wept and Infecting the Crypts. Other than that, Effigy rules it.

Is Demilich really that good? I've heard mixed things about their album, alot of people really hate it.

Demilich is great. Sometimes they get tedious, but they were way ahead of their time. Vocals are hit or miss for people.

That Confessor is great. It's pretty easy to get past the vox, when i sent it to you i just deleted it but now that i tried it again its excellent.

Although i dont think they're all that appropriate for this thread, i was listening to foreign objects today and they are really good. for those of you who dont know its deron miller and jess margera's pre-CKY band as gay as that sounds but the vox are on the deathy-side and the music is really good so i recommend them.

You can get their stuff free from their site as well, so there's no excuse to not at least check them out.

But yeah, about how Coke said vocals are hit or miss... they missed for me. The music is really good, but the vocals completely ruin it for me. It sounds like some guy belching into a microphone for an hour straight.

I just discovered them because one of the Project Staff here used to be nieghbors with the bassist and one of my instructors has done live sound for them before. Happened to be a really good find as it turns out.

Demilich sounds really good so far. I can see the vocals becoming grating at one point or another, but they aren't too bad now. This is really impressive considering when the album was written/recorded.

Yeah, it's wayyyyy ahead of it's time. It was hard for me to believe it came out in '92.
