I don't mean to fuel this fire or offend anyone, but modern Christianity is a bigger joke than it ever was and most "Christians" do things that are in blatant disregard of the teachings of the Bible. So, Christianity, aside from some fundamentalist denominations, is pretty much dead anyway.
|
what
|
yeah dude I don't know where you are getting that. Christianity is far from dead.
|
By "pretty much dead" I mean doesn't exist in its true form anymore with a couple exceptions. Note what Mappy said, Christian ideals have become more "lax" in the past 100 years, meaning that moral degradation has caused people to forget about what Christianity ever was in the first place and go against the teachings of the Bible on a daily basis.
Most Christians are just Christian by title nowadays, they don't know what it's all about. |
its what people do in the name of the bible though that gets everyone upset
|
I've rolled a joint with bible paper before.
 |
Yes but you can also challenge religious people to explain why they are religious. Like just in a scenario like school, half the people who say they are christians and go to church don't even agree with what the bible says, so why are they following this religion based on the bible? I bet half of christians in the USA don't even believe in the religion and you just have to make them realize it.
Uh I really don't care why anyone would believe in what they believe, im not out to change the world here, id rather not waste my time convincing Christians how retarded they are because it is useless and would just cause unneeded frustration on my part. It is better to have it completely out of my life and not let it affect me. It isn't up to me to change these peoples views, it is up to them to figure it out themselves. Although if the topic arises I would be more then happy to give my views on it. Im too lazy to read the last 10 or so pages, can I assume correctly it is just BRA making a retard out of himself in a nonsensical argument? |
Yes it is fair to assume that.
|
It is expected everything would go downhill after the brilliant post of my 4 step program.
It's a philosophical and moral stance towards life.
And your choice of philosophers was very, very mainstream.
No it's more of a culture these days. Buddhism would be one of the few religions that still falls under your definition. And I was being broad and generic on purpose, no point citing people you've never heard of.
Im too lazy to read the last 10 or so pages, can I assume correctly it is just BRA making a retard out of himself in a nonsensical argument?
yup |
...and I haven't seen it directed at Pagans at all.
Then you, good sir, are blind to the world around you. Especially if you live in the U.S.
But that's Poland and you don't live there. That is a governmental issue and not a religious one.
Given time, any ideology will spread like the plague. The idea that we shouldn't care because it doesn't affect us is a rather naive one. Also, it is a governmental issue fed by religious ignorance; it's fairly obvious.
Actually I disagree. No nation should be considered "Christian" merely because the majority of the population is.
I completely agree. Simply because the country was founded/is dominated by Christians also doesn't change the fact that the country was founded on the idea of freedom from religious persecution, for everyone, not just Christians. On a larger scale, the reason I am so heated about this is because whether you like it or not, it affects everyone. Religious ideals control governments, which in turn infiltrate media. It affect everything and everyone. The Christian plague affects everyone negatively, whether you want to realize it or not, and it's affects are most noticable in the arts, including music. |

I have for the past five pages, with specific examples. Go read.
|
BRA please don't argue this, for your benefit.
|
BRA, I AM a Christian. I go to a church. I even ****ing post on some christian forums once in awhile.
I never have seen hate for Pagans, obviously most of them believe they're going to hell, but they don't go out of their way to slander them. Many of them even realize that a lot of their religion is based on paganism. So don't feed me that **** that I'm blind. Also I too would like an explanation how Christianity is infiltrating music. :\ |
BRA please don't argue this, for your benefit.
But I'm not wrong, at least to an extent. Luc, seriously, I don't want to repeat every specific example I've posted. |
WHO CARES IF YOU'RE NOT WRONG IT'S A ****ING INTERNET FORUM
ffs guys, this is a BLACK METAL thread. Bring your stupid ****ing religious wars else where, no one wants to hear about it in here. |
Christians being against black metal because the cunts involved in it can't pass a church without burning it down has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity affecting music.
|
Christianity is infiltrating music I tells ya!
