talk to anybody who listens to anything besides metal. lots of people hate them. actually just step foot inside the alt/indie forum. there's enough DT hate in there to kill a baby.

I like some of the riffs and ideas DT uses but I couldn't listen to them too often. Skilled players though.

Yeah, Dream Theatre is boring. I used to be into them back in the day, and I actually own three of their albums, but it just eventually became dull and boring music to me.

Just like it has been stated, there isn't much of a feel to it, so it is just bland.

They are good at what they do, but what they do is boring.

Yeah. I'm not sure I could even find a loose T-40 neck. I would definetly want the same neck, I really like them.

For a next/first cab I was considering an Ampeg SVT 410 HLF, or the Pro 410.

Either one of those or a Schroeder of some sort.

I would really like a Ampeg 410. But the problem is that I rarely play over my own setup :p And if I do.. I am still going in 75% of the cases through the PA.

The next thing I buy is this baby:

The 80Gb iPod is 350$, which I think is a better deal.

I would have bought one seeing as I had two seperate opportunities, but a new bass and two new cabs caught my interest instead.
