It's pretty good, but no where near as good as Darkness Descends.

 Slayer Barbie's
Yes, Whiplash are great. Best Albums are Power and Pain, and Insult to Injury.

Argh, have to wait till the 17th for Enemy of God :(
I know exactly how you feel, I've even had to pre-order it from Play because I can't be certain that any of my local music stores HMV, MVC etc. will stock it, they don't stock any other Kreator albums so I can't see them having this one

   Slayer barbies, that is classic

LordDargon 01-09-2005 07:05 AM

Hahaha, me and XO were joking around about making a corpsepainted black metal barbie, looks like we may have been beaten to it (nearly)

RavenousMetalist87 01-09-2005 11:59 AM

I suggest you still go for it Dargon. That'd be a kickass idea, and then you can sell it to the black metal chicks XD

Great song.
The only Testament I have is Demonic. Its not too great.
Yeah demonic is HORRIBLE I can't stand that album, get the early stuff , any of the first 5 albums is great, but only the first two are major full on thrash

SLATANIC-666 01-10-2005 02:07 AM

Ok guys, recently I mentioned my problem about not being able to get my hands on Dark Angel- We Have Arrived. For those with the same problem go to cdzone.co.uk. They have some of those french made copies that someone mentioned :thumb:

ThrashMaster27 01-10-2005 03:33 AM

I don't think they were supposed to release 'Demonic' under the Testament name but ended up doing it at the last minute. It's not a great album, but listenable from my point of view.

Apocalyptic Raids 01-10-2005 06:38 AM

What name were they going to release it under?

Speaking of testament i just downloaded First Strike Still Deadly, which isnt bad. The tracks with Zetro on them are awesome (Reign Of Terror and Alone In The Dark), which makes me wonder why the hell they left them off The Legacy. (Although i have heard Chuck do Alone In The Dark on Live At The Fillmore and IMO Zetro blows him away).

LordDargon 01-10-2005 06:43 AM

Anyone got The Gathering?

What do you think of it? It's alright but it gets booooring sometimes.

Yppolitia 01-10-2005 06:45 AM

Who is The Gathering by, i recognize it from somewhere.

Apocalyptic Raids 01-10-2005 06:54 AM

Its by Testament. :)

metal-militia 01-10-2005 07:03 AM

Is The Gathering the one where Dave Lombardo was on drums?

What Testament should i get next? I have The Legacy which I loved, and I have New Order which i thought was very dissapointing.

Thanks for the CD Zone site Slatanic. We Have Arrived isn't high on my list of CD's now though, so it will have to wait a while.

LordDargon 01-10-2005 07:26 AM

Yes, drumming is by Lombardo, he does a nice job of it.

Try to find Legacy's 1986 demo, and First Strike Still Deadly. After that, you are done with looking for good Testament.

Alone In The Dark was on The Legacy :)

Dargon, thanks for getting me into Suffocation!

LordDargon 01-10-2005 09:21 AM

Check this out.

Enjoy.

RCA 01-10-2005 09:23 AM

Gene Hoglan joined them when they were under the name 'Dog Faced Gods' but they eventually decided to use the Testament name. Perhaps for marketing, I don't know.

sensitiveorgan00 01-10-2005 04:14 PM

Check out Ballistic. It's more power/speed, but still fvcking good.

They were known as Legacy first I thought?

And sensitive, Ballistic own \m/

Militia, PWYP is utter crap compared to Testament's other works.

SLATANIC-666 01-10-2005 04:47 PM

Dark Assault are pretty good, thanks Dargon and RCA :thumb: That's what I like to see, chicks in thrash.
Oh and Ballistic were good too sensitive :thumb: .
I'd better get my act together and form a thrash band, I don't wanna miss the boat.

ForiegnPenguin 01-10-2005 04:47 PM

Don't buy Demonic, whatever you do. And this just in Annihilater-Alice in Hell/Never Neverland

Yeah, they were....Hoglan joined in the 1990's sometime and Testament became Dog Faced Gods, mainly due to their change in sound. Anyway, they changed it back just before the album was released.

ForiegnPenguin 01-10-2005 05:05 PM

While you guys are here, anyone want to tell me what a good Testament album is?
Militia, PWYP is utter crap compared to Testament's other works.
Ahh it's not THAT bad.
I never really cared for Testament though. Low is the only album I really like.
