I think I like Board of Canada, rather I like what I have heard.

When Ryu and Ken did their spinning air kick, did they say Hadoken?

Thonk 11-10-2006 10:11 PM

Hello.

No, they said it when they shot the fireball.

Boards of Canada are very cool.

Music Has A Right To Children is a sweet album.

The Brad 11-10-2006 10:17 PM

Was it just jibberish and that whooshing noise then?

Apparently he was saying "Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku"

Uhhh...as jibberish as "hadoken" was, I suppose?

The Brad 11-10-2006 10:21 PM

Man, my day blew. It's nice to know Type O has an exclusive LA show to make up for my day of driving.

PietroCrespi 11-10-2006 10:26 PM

Grr.... I was going just fine with my first transcription... until the guitarist started doing slides.

The Brad 11-10-2006 10:36 PM

I think I saw Mr.JiggyFly or whatever at Guitar Center this evening.

Was he jigglin' his fly?

/wasn't clever

BenJammin 11-10-2006 10:43 PM

No, impossible.

People on MX don't exist in real life.

Thonk 11-10-2006 10:46 PM

I've never been to GC.

The Brad 11-10-2006 10:47 PM

Well it was just some skinny small dude with dreads playing a flea bass. I figured it was him based on that, but I couldn't figure out why he would be in Escondido.

funkyhoney 11-10-2006 10:51 PM

howdy all

PaulSimonon 11-10-2006 10:55 PM

I'd have been like... Hey... is your name Adam?

I'm your internet friend... Hi....

/remembers Berklee and how weird it was to meet people from here

The Brad 11-10-2006 10:56 PM

Yeah I wanted to ask are you on MX or is your name Jiggyfly, but he left after I kept staring.

BenJammin 11-10-2006 11:01 PM
O.K. Ben :)
Your music makes me feel good. Not only your good bass playing, but your sound made me wonderful.
Please have a good weekend! And take care.

Little things like that are what keep me making music.

Thonk 11-10-2006 11:01 PM

Man... dilemma.

Keyboard or start of a bass rig.

The Brad 11-10-2006 11:02 PM

That's pretty rad, Ben.

BenJammin 11-10-2006 11:04 PM
That's pretty rad, Ben.
Yeah, it really is. :)

One of my friends bought my CD just out of kindness and then told me a few days later that she really loved it, and thought it was beautiful.

Another friend told me that she liked the CD, but she didn't get much of a chance to listen to it, because her boyfriend snatched the CD and ran back to his room to listen to it.

It almost makes me weep with happiness.

The Brad 11-10-2006 11:08 PM

Du bist ein sheißkopf.
Nein, ich liebe dich.
Ich liebe alles.
Ach so.
Yeah I wanted to ask are you on MX or is your name Jiggyfly, but he left after I kept staring.
Haha, it's so awkward because if he isn't you'll feel like such a douche...

I got there at a weird time, and didn't know who was who... so I went up to some random guy in a TB hat and asked him if he was Justin (Tryxx).

It was. I felt better... but the moment before I asked I felt like such a douche....

I just went laser tagging.

I came in 14th out of about 25-ish, I don't know the exact number.

Still... :upset:

One Groovin Clown 11-10-2006 11:36 PM

Got my math midterm back. A lousy 21 out of 40.

Christ, this is ridiculous. Studied my *** off for that exam and I barely pass it.
What a bummer, now i have to trudge through an 8 page essay.

How I hate school.

BenJammin 11-10-2006 11:38 PM

Yeah, school blows.

If I thought I could do something productive with my life, I'd drop out right now. But I know I'm worthless without an equally worthless piece of paper that declares my 'credentials.'

Exactly my point of view. If i could find a good paying job right now, I'd drop out and not deal with the hassle that comes with school.

Doesn't help having girlfriend issues happening at the same time.

I hate how things are right now.

November is the worst month ever.

There's really no other way around it.

Thonk 11-10-2006 11:46 PM

Man, I love autumn..

PietroCrespi 11-11-2006 12:21 AM

Finally got done tabbing out my first song. Just submitted it to Ultimate-guitar because the other tabs on there didn't have the complete solos.

funkyhoney 11-11-2006 12:28 AM

ben how can i get your cd?

BenJammin 11-11-2006 12:30 AM
ben how can i get your cd?
At the moment, you can't, because I haven't had time to go harass businesses about printing costs for labels and inserts. I destroyed an ink cartridge after only 6 albums, so that's not an option anymore.

I'll let you know as soon as I've got it figured out.
