im gonna hang myself |
On the topic of iPods, I think they are really detrimental to the music industry. It puts more stress on single songs than albums, and to artists (real artists), the album as a whole is usually more important.
Speaking of albums, although it won't be scrobbled this week, I am listening to The Alchemy Index like non stop. |

I don't know how you personally operate, but even for those that do have the full album, very few people listen to albums the whole way through any more. When you have 10,000 songs at your fingertips, most will opt to simply play single songs instead of albums. It was a great idea in theory, but there are definitely some drawbacks. |
I listen to full albums almost exclusively.
|
I have whole albums but 90% of the time my iTunes is on shuffle. I'll listen to full albums when I'm on a bender of one particular band though, and I can't stand not having the whole album.
|
I usually listen to albums all the way through.
But what Am I doing in an Ipod conversation; I don't have one. I still listen to musicv through my cd player :) |
i would listen to large chunks of albums, but usually lose interest and move on to something else quickly, but thats when i had my ipod
i too use my cd player, if you haven't dreamt of murder, then you've never been in love by in death we rise is in it at the moment  |
I carry around my phonograph.
|
For popular music that has hit the point of no return. I typically listen by album by iPod. I just think that people who value the album before digital music, will still value the album during digital music.
|
I listen to entire albums
|
I'm sure many will say that they listen to full albums, mostly just sound like a true music fan. But the forums are also a bad sample of the general music population.

Wasn't referring to you specifically. I just mean that generally, people say what they think people want to hear. |
gtfo out.
redundant lolz |
I'm an albums guy too.
And I just have a 15GB iPod. |
Yeah, I usually listen to entire albums unless something gets really boring... I have a 30GB iPod that's filling up pretty quickly... I should get a 60 or 80GB tbh. But I'm also getting a new guitar sometime soon and all those expenses can add up pretty quick...

I use it to keep all my music together but have rare cases of one-song-artists, usually I get the albums and rip them and put them in my ipod to keep things together. |
I enjoy my 20$ 2G mp3 player.
