Good job cleaning up the forums though, Wintermute, always very quick when you are on.
That's right... Wintermute isn't on "the forums" right now... he's at work.

I had no idea KurtCobain6626 had a track record of acting like that. I guess I don't feel so bad for him now.

PaulSimonon 09-17-2004 03:11 PM

I believe he's done other stuff too....

thelowsoundofbass 09-17-2004 03:12 PM

good, there is enough spam as it is, we don't need some dumb arses at another far infearior forum spamming us more.

I should get paid...

Yeah, the most notable other occasion was a row over whether Courtney killed Kurt (he thinks she did) in which he acted like a true ass. General tactic of abandoning reason or proof, and just slanging his opponents.

Maybe he should take up politics?

thelowsoundofbass 09-17-2004 03:17 PM

^^^ooo i love politics, i also think that cortney had him killed. but i have on realy proof of that and i don't like to argue that point.

We already have enough of those kinds of posters in the political forum. :)

Wintermute 09-17-2004 03:19 PM

Hah, tell me about it. Did you catch that Zorastra guy earlier today? What an arrogant dick!

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=238496 - we called him out on it and he seems to have run away now.

Not if it was in a Bush or Kerry thread. I haven't even bothered to read those ones lately.

It was probably Fenwood or Tom in disguise.

Wintermute 09-17-2004 03:22 PM

It was in one of the 9/11 ones. I did wonder about that, but I only have power in Bass, so I couldn't check his IP out.

Left Shoe 09-17-2004 03:23 PM

i only go in the politcal forum once in awhile , this board is too big to have a good political discussion without some asshole coming in and ruining i have another musicianboard for that

Saitoku 09-17-2004 03:25 PM

I actually haven't seen Fenwood around lately. I was getting pretty hostile with him recently.... not really my thing, but he was just a complete dick... totally generalizes about people and then gets all indignant if you don't take what he says as fact.

Wintermute 09-17-2004 03:27 PM

This guy's vocabulary was far too big for Fenwood. He made no points, he just fed his posts through a thesaurus. He thought it made him sound intelligent. It really just made him sound arrogant. It might work on a stupider forum, but there were enough people there who understood every word he said and knew he wasn't actually saying anything valid.

Saitoku 09-17-2004 03:28 PM

Heheh.... that's all I do, too.

(don't tell anyone.)

Well, off to work I go!

Wintermute 09-17-2004 03:29 PM

Seriously, check that link out, you don't do it to this guys level.

Saitoku 09-17-2004 03:41 PM
Seriously, check that link out, you don't do it to this guys level.
Hey! I was joking. I don't actually do that, do I?

Anyway, yeah...seems like a real waker. But I remember a guy that did the same thing... except he was a religious zealot... maybe it was the same guy. I'll check his old posts out.

P.S. This is me at work :D

Saitoku 09-17-2004 03:42 PM

Yeah... it is the same guy.... I hate that guy.

Wintermute 09-17-2004 03:50 PM

Yeah, everyone there did.

Left Shoe 09-17-2004 04:11 PM

i havent finished reading it yet , but the way this guy talks he needs to be raped

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-17-2004 04:17 PM

Waht guy I don't really want to go back in read to find it

Wintermute 09-17-2004 04:20 PM

There's a link on the last page. It's not far.

ShelBel 09-17-2004 04:30 PM

Wow. He certainly did use a lot of words, didn't he. Very interesting conversation... :/

Wintermute 09-17-2004 04:34 PM

He was most circumlocutory.

(That's one of my favourite words, as you can't use it without being it  )

Crapdragoon 09-17-2004 04:36 PM

Stop the presses, im here.

hey everybody, hows it going?

Wintermute 09-17-2004 04:38 PM

Pretty well. I'm listening to some great 70's prog (Fragile by Yes) drinking a damn fine ale (Theakston Old Peculiar) and enjoying shouting at wrongdoers.

(is it wrong that I feel so much better after that Kurtcobain66626 debacle?)

Crapdragoon 09-17-2004 04:40 PM

what debacle?? and nicce, as formyself im listening to the whole purple album, by stp. :)

ShelBel 09-17-2004 04:42 PM

My dirty little secret...

[whispers] I'm listening to a bootleg promo of Duran Duran's new CD "Astronaut", which isn't officially out until Oct. 4. [/whisper]

risbo 09-17-2004 04:44 PM

My hands are cold and slow right now. Any advice to warm 'em up so I can play better?

Wintermute 09-17-2004 04:45 PM

Stick em under your armpits. Or just warm up by practising modes, or however you do it.

Crapdragoon 09-17-2004 04:48 PM

So yeah, the weekend is finally here.

ShelBel 09-17-2004 04:50 PM

Lucky for you- I have to work. And its supposed to be NICE, too! *curses the weather*

Wintermute 09-17-2004 04:50 PM

Yeah, but I work weekends.

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-17-2004 04:53 PM

that would suck working weekends well maybe not if you weren't in school

Wintermute 09-17-2004 04:59 PM

I'm not. I'm off to Uni on the 25th though. There may be a dip in my online time during Freshers week, I'll be pre-occupied being drunk, finding my way around, and forming a band, with any luck.

Saitoku 09-17-2004 04:59 PM

TA-DA! I'm still at work right now.

I took off for a while to go watch the guy that works at the help desk play some MSN game for like an hour and a half. I get along well with him since he plays bass as well.

Ill take over for you as mod for a while :thumb: ;) :naughty:

Wintermute 09-17-2004 05:07 PM

Nice try! I'm sure MT and LR will cope.

you might want to tackle the later two first... i dont think trying to find your way around drunk would be very productive... and a band created while drunk... thats just wrong(two tamboriens and a banjo... and me on bass, how could we go wrong..?)

AlmightyPancake 09-17-2004 05:08 PM

Ughhh i hate breaking stings. There goes my g from my flea signature set...

****.

Man, the weather sucks over here. We're getting like, hurricane residue.
