HeavyRiva what's your name on Frozen Throne? I just got off of it. Name is ZephBoy, so you can friends list me if you want.

I play Starcraft sometimes with friends, but not too often.

EDIT: ArrestThisMan, isn't it addicting man? I had break last week so I started playing again after months of inactivity. Only level 18 right now though.
I'm rev0lutionist

I'll add you to my list. We should all AT sometime.

MAthiAS 05-03-2005 10:45 PM

Yeah that'd be cool, what race you play? I go Night Elf or Undead, I suck at the others...

Riva 05-03-2005 10:46 PM

I haven't played Frozen Throne for ages. I used to be level 14, but I don't know what I am like know, or even if my account is still active. I was Riva_IronFist and also Algar_Fleetfoot, so add both, just in case I revive either one.

I play either Night Elf, or Human. I can do really well as Undead solo, but in a team, I am almost always Human.

Bloodmage + Archmage + Priests + Sorcs = *drools*

ATM 05-03-2005 10:47 PM
Yeah that'd be cool, what race you play? I go Night Elf or Undead, I suck at the others...
I'm always random :)

Riva, you should get on sometime so that us three can play.

I added you both.

Casters aren't as powerful as they were in Reign of Chaos. In ROC, you could just mass them and win, but in Frozen Throne that doesn't work very well.

Archmage and Bloodmage do own, though. Aoe spells /drools

Captain Jack Sparrow 05-03-2005 10:47 PM
I've never played Starcraft. I hear they are working on a new one.
I think the last thing the game needs is another addition. If it's not for the PC then it's fine, but Brood War is all the PC version needs. It's a great game.

Riva 05-03-2005 10:48 PM

Up for it right now? Just a quick game? I need a break from Uni, anyway.

MAthiAS 05-03-2005 10:48 PM

Heh, I'm not so great at solo, and I just don't think its as fun as team or FFA.

EDIT: I would play some now, but I have to get up for school at 7, so I'm probably going to sleep in like 5 minutes. Maybe tomorrow night.

ATM 05-03-2005 10:49 PM
Up for it right now? Just a quick game? I need a break from Uni, anyway.
Sure, why not?

Mathias, you should get on as well.

Riva 05-03-2005 10:52 PM

Just had to find my CD. Hehe, meet you on there in a bit.

Mathias, you gonna meet up as well?

EDIT: Chris, my internet is playing havoc on me. It won't let me connect to Battle.net.

ATM 05-03-2005 10:58 PM

Hmm try restarting your computer. Or quitting Warcraft then starting it up again.

MAthiAS 05-03-2005 10:58 PM

Sorry guys, I'm going to sleep, just so tired right now. What gateway are you guys on usually? Maybe I'll catch you later this week.

SonorKen 05-03-2005 10:59 PM

Hmmm sounds like an on-line Mud like I used to play MANY moons ago.

Riva 05-03-2005 11:01 PM

I'm going to try uninstalling then reinstalling the game. And yeah, what gateway are you on, Chris?

Night, Mathias.

Hey there Ken. How's the band going?

SonorKen 05-03-2005 11:04 PM

Pretty good man, we dumped everything we had so far and are going a different direction. Everyone is inspired and were having a marathon practice tomm..

ATM 05-03-2005 11:06 PM

I am on Azeroth (US East)

Riva 05-03-2005 11:06 PM

Sounds awesome. I never had any sucess in getting my local band started. :-/ By the time I got a bassist and a drummer, the guitarist lost interest, etc.

Also, ever since I got my computer back from the technicians, stuff has been going wrong with it. Bloody hell. I hope this works, otherwise I will be pissed off.

Rightio Chris. WC3 original is nearly finished installing.

Riva 05-03-2005 11:26 PM

Listen Chris, it's just not happening. I'll get my computer tech friend to have a look. Sorry, mate.

ATM 05-03-2005 11:34 PM
Listen Chris, it's just not happening. I'll get my computer tech friend to have a look. Sorry, mate.
No worries. Let me know when you are able to play. :)

I just realized that the amount of periods used in a post is directly related to how big of an idiot they are.

Lord Abortion 05-04-2005 04:39 AM

this game sounds rad...

just my RPG- loving cup of tea really!

Oh and BTW i'm going to see rammstein in newcastle in july...

fills in the time between download and leeds nicely...

Bartender 05-04-2005 05:29 AM

^I might be going to that too, actually. Just got told about/invited to it a few days ago by a friend of mine still living there.

Anyway. I don't suppose there's anyone here who can help me defend Descartes against a particular argument, is there?

logic again?

if it was nietzche or wittengenstein philosophy I may be able to help you
or anything english literature- based

Bartender 05-04-2005 05:55 AM

Nah, this one's theoretical philosophy. For once I'm actually thinking about whether the objections I'm coming up with really do successfully counter what is being said, and it's difficult.

munky_magik 05-04-2005 05:56 AM

Ok, so today was bad :-/

I went to get the Ozric Tentacles Cd which - surprise, surprise - was no longer there.
Also, another CD I wanted which has been in Fopp for £5.00 for around 3 months, was no longer there :-/
I ended up getting The hand that feeds because it was there, I was ****ed if I wasn't getting something, the UK version apparently has 2 bonus tracks, and it came in a cool box.
Luckily I saw Endtroducing on my way to pay and got that as well. Only £6.99 :)

Aside from that, every single one of my CD shops disappointed me. :(

I also realised that I'm supposed to vote tomorrow, yet have no idea who to vote for.

sounds pretty difficult...

when I get to uni I want to do a thesis on H.P lovecraft because he is magnificent

Lord Abortion 05-04-2005 06:23 AM

oh well...
off to law...

bye for an hour or so

NP-sonata arctica- wildfire

Bartender 05-04-2005 06:29 AM

See you later.

At least you got a cheap Endtroducing. I paid full price for mine :) What do you think of it?
I also realised that I'm supposed to vote tomorrow, yet have no idea who to vote for.
I think you should vote Liberal Democrat. And yeah, I know I voted for them so it probably seems like I'd be telling anyone to vote for them, but I think it'd probably be best from your point of view too, since you're starting University next year and they're a very student-friendly party. Not least of all in regards to fees.

Lord Abortion 05-04-2005 07:53 AM

student friendly party is good
but vote green!... or conservative

anyway i'm back...
drum lesson was shitagain... not doing them next term- £50
wasted through cunty ghost note bars and stuff that is way below the level of what I play at home... it's stupid and I get so pissed off for no reason
At least you got a cheap Endtroducing. I paid full price for mine What do you think of it?
I like it so far, but I haven't listened to it yet. Basically the only song I know is 'Midnight' so I'm pre-disposed to liking it.

I think I'll try and do some research so I have some kind of idea for whom to vote. The Lib Dem's make sense, I guess.

HHG Movie: Was good as a movie, but as a guide movie it was bad. It would have been fine if they made it under a different name. Most of the casting was good, apart from Mos Def. I now hate him with a passion. Zooey Deschanel did Trillian really rather, I thought
I guess it is a problem when you make a movie of a book, but they got a lot wrong. The Vogon ships were all wrong, as was The Heart of Gold.
I also dislike how they left out most of the little Tangents that Adams embarks on throughout the guide.
And the interface for The Guide was wrong as well :-/

I'm going to see it on sat, but as a fan of the books I'm sure to be disapointed
like you- c'est la vie...

Dancin' Man 05-04-2005 08:48 AM

I am reading A Clockwork Orange right now. It is so weird. I've never seen the movie and don't know if I want to. The author replaces certain words with gibberish but it's consistent. Example - the word see is replaced with vid, in all forms and tenses. Horrorshow is some all encompassing word I have yet to understand so far. And their is so much.... evil.
