I get the context of the joke, but why the fuck would we want a tech-death version of the worst folk album to come out in the 2000s? Seriously bro.

xMalcolmXx 05-07-2011 07:19 PM

Being 12 I don't suppose you've gathered that music test is subjective

I like the lo-fi production and allow me to re-iterate son, GOOD. CHILL. OUT. ALBUM. I like his stuff same as I enjoy listening to City & Colour, Fences and Luke Pickett.

Yes music is subjective therefore I should be able to express a viewpoint without someone saying that music is subjective and therefore there are opinions, simply because I expressed one.

Whatever though.

Japan's really awesome but I don't know I'm becoming increasingly fascinated with the art history of 15th century Middle East (particularly Turkey). Sayat Nova's influence on Middle Eastern culture's also particularly fascinating.

2muchket! 05-07-2011 07:35 PM

You posed the question why he would want to aspire to such an album, which I consider a good album - peripheral point in the joke. It was a joke based in adb being a hermit and mitch's set-up living secluded in a cabin, i instantly thought of how that album was made and decided to make a joke about.

I'm having a difficult time understanding the only thing you could glean from that post is to automatically question the artistic merits of the album I referenced.

What I'm trying to say is: back to the review site faggot.

I know small parts of Japanese culture through my own research, but I'm surprised they not only have the death penalty but employ hangings.

xMalcolmXx 05-07-2011 07:56 PM

hangings are sweet

Haz 05-07-2011 08:01 PM

2muchket! 05-07-2011 08:06 PM

Just read a little more about the way they go about achieving convictions in Japan, Amnesty International is particular damning on their procedural justice practises. Sounds like fucking Guantanamo Bay.
