The vocals make me want to kill myself, and I don't mean that in a good way.

And the music is plain uninteresting to me.

It's the music more than his voice. Yes, half the time he sounds like ***, but it would be fine if the music was interesting.

He owned in Sanctuary.

I like Nevermore but it depends.

Often times yeah, their off key sense of melody gets boring and annoying. But they have some great songs.

It's like they don't know that most of their songs suck. They got lucky on Dead Heart, which is an amazing album, but all their others have like 2 decent songs.

The vocals are my main complaint.

Politics of Ecstasy is imo their best.

Im not sure why TBDM's solo's are considered to be crap. I can see how on Nocturnal they can become a bit repetative, but I think there's enough of a variation in each to not be completely boring.

I really like the solo on What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse.

To a Breathless Oblivion and Deathmask Divine have my fav solos off the album.

the production on his vocals is horrible. he's a lot better live than he is on album, even though his highs really blow, his lows are extremely impressive.

and in the recording videos for the vocal takes, his lows sound amazing, but the finished product seems to have an over emphasis on the grunt of the growl, much like it did on bloodlust with anthony... yet his [anthony's] growls sound awesome on the annihilation of expectation, which was done with a different producer [than bloodlust and malice].

their new drummer is just another plays really fast and does simple fills guy, he can play dayton's parts, but he can't come up with nearly as good beats... he just does blast beats and polka beats it seems.

Even with sound troubles, Suffo owned when they played here.

They did play a lot of the self titled, but there was a good mix of older material thrown in as well. Most people I know were happy with the set list.

They also came across as really friendly, approachable chaps, taking time to sign a shitload of albums and generally speaking with fans at the afterparty. Not that I met any of them, I just observed.
