Pretty da[font=]mn[/font] good after one listen. He's gone even further back to country music, which might be a good thing, depending. I think it'll be a grower too.

I like his country-ish music more than any of the other genres he does. I'll be looking forward to it.

I like it more but the production on Heartbreaker is painful with the huge changes in volume for his vocals. I haven't heard Cold Roses yet.

I'd agree with you on the production flaws but it's still my favourite of his records. [i]Cold Roses[/i] falls very much in the same vein as [i]Heartbreaker[/i].

I like Heartbreaker and Love is Hell as equal firsts.

Yeah, definitely check them out. They've been leaked for a while now, so I'm only just 'officially' getting their release. I'm not sure I'd be as [i]quite[/i] as hugely positive as all the publications have been, but it is a truly excellent record in the Arcade Fire/Modest Mouse vein. It's not an album to change your mind on this style of sound, but it's a great refinement for those who already enjoy it.
