Whoah whoah whoah, ive finally figured out why i hate everything and why im so pissed off about my band all the time.

I need a singer that writes their own lyrics and a guitarist that listens to similar music as me that can write thier own stuff and that has some skill (cause i prefer playing bass) and thats not too hard to work with. Because rightnow its basically me writing everything and my drummer giving it a beat and my singer not doing sh'it.

EDIT: also, everybody wants me to be the singer. I think i could do it, as long as i wasnt playing another instrument. But then, i'd have to find a bassist, and i think im the only one around here. I need to make some connections and get with people from other schools.

You should learn to sing while playing bass. Start out with easier stuff, then build on it. That's what I did when playing guitar. I used to be able to sing like "Brain Stew" and sing at the same time, and now I can play more complicated songs while singing.

Yeah, but honestly, id prefer to have a singer not playing an instrument. I feel like its more of a connection with the crowd that way.

So i just ordered an italian hoagie, and the person working the phones at the place had to be the most depressed person in the world. I called, all happy to be ordering a yummy italian hoagie, and i came out all melancholy because the person working there.

It is pretty dang bad. She fries a TON of onions then she puts them in a big dish puts this sauce on them then puts like a bunch of these little toast things on top of it. And it's nasty, but its my dad's birthday and he loves the stuff.
