I think the sweeps are more impressive. I showed my friend the LATB version of it and he was like " No way!" I had to rewind it for him
|
Yup. Amazing solo.
|
yeah... LATB was one of the best buys ive ever made...
|
I was just listening to Pagans Mind and the guitar work in one of their songs sounds very similar to Strange Deja Vu. If you are interested in hearing it, leave your emails.
|
I'd like to hear it.

How did the guitarist from korn manage to do that?
It was probably his model and wanted to delay it for some unknown reason. |

The wanker. I tried JP's 7 string at the London Guitar Show. Very nice indeed, wouldn't mind having one myself. And then I stole about 50 JP posters. |
I sent the song. Tell me if you think they ripped off Strange Deja Vu.

your are right is very similar as you said in the vocals

I think you should've taken priority seeing as you had it ordered... GI, I didn't get the song. |
Were's that band from?
Im not sure which country, but I can safely bet they are from Europe. EDIT: Beaten |
So they are from some part of the old world. I just listened to the song and the intro is the same and the rest of the song has some similar parts.
Hey Geunine can you chuck me that song too please?
matt.rar@gmail.com Thanks dude.
It has been sent. Miunderstood is a good song. Not a personal favorite, but a good song none the less. |
hey what do you think of the song Misunderstood?
I like the song but it is not on the list of my favorite DT's songs. |
Misunderstood is my favourite Track off the first 6DOIT disk, and one of my personal favourite DT songs.
Me with the ballads again:p |
I think we can all agree that the second disk of 6DoIT owns the first disk.
|
I don't see why everyone likes 6DOIT so much. It's not that good.
|
Oh yeah GI, it's much better.
|
My favourite track on 6 degrees would be Disappear. I love it so much.
|
I don't see why everyone likes 6DOIT so much. It's not that good.
Its not their best. Im just comparing the first and second disk. |
I've been into the song "Octavarium" a lot lately.
|
It's a brilliant song but the intro is far too long.
|
hey what is the best album of Dream Theater?
|
hey what is the best album of Dream Theater?
The general consensus among fans is Awake, Images and Words, or Scenes From A Memory. My order is: 1)Images and Words 2)SFAM 3)Awake:thumb: |
thanks^^^^^
hey what is the best album of Dream Theater?
Metropolis pt II: Scenes from a Memory. I was messing around on the internet and i found a list of songs covered by Dream Theater, i was shocked when i found Would? by AIC. Does anybody have any info about that cover? |
hey what is the best album of Dream Theater?
For me they are Images and Words, Awake and Train of Though. |
My order is:
1. SFAM 2. Awake 3. Images & Words I've really been digging ToT lately. It's strange... I'm a fan of DT's early stuff. That's when I think they were at their best (part from SFAM - that album is effing brilliant), and although ToT is their heaviest album, there's just something about it that I love. I think when you really delve deep into the music and give it hundreds of listens you find the prog elements are still there. They're not Awake or I&W prog-standard, but they're still awesome. Having said that, I hope DT's next album makes a return to their early 90's era, otherwise we may never hear that special, unique music again. :( |
