Although their new one is not quite as heavy they have improved their writing and song structure heaps.

Yep if more bands actually mixed in legit hardcore elements like animosity do maybe this genre wouldn't suck so much at times.

It's sad bands like Suffokate,Winds of Plague, and Years Spent Cold all try to add Hardcore to their sound but most of the time it's either to brief or it sounds to forced.

ABACABB has mad hardcore parts.

They have like one good song And The Skies Were Filled With Fire or something like that.Other than that meh.

First heard Suffokate late 2005, first death metal orientated band I'd heard at that point.

They're average but The Skies Were Filled With Fire is still awesome to this day, so mindless but brings the juns.

saw them live a few months ago. they're total fags but the bass player is pretty cool.

The guitarist still posts on this forum I think.

Decapitated is boring live, everything sounds so monotone. All Shall Perish is okay, Eddie's vocals aren't nearly as good live as on album, and they play new stuff so nah.

The Red Chord, Veil Of Maya, Cephalic Carnage, and Decrepit Birth rule live.
