oh yeah i just crapped up a story board so i could get out to film. But then we had a story while we were dfilminf but had to get rid of the footage because our filmer was english and they cant do anything right. so the story doesnt work but you have to fill in the blanks.

Hey Jim, I have an idea I'd like to run by you....

I was thinking, would we have use for a sort of MXDP reference guide in which we recommend druming books, dvds, etc.? And all the suggestions could be edited into the first post so we'd have a good list....I don't know if we need one or if its a totally useless idea, but it was just a random thought I had today so I thought I would share it and see if its any good...

Hey guys, It's been about 3 months since I ordered my Maryland kit and they said I should be able to pick it up by the end of August to early September. Granted that is very close, but I have not heard from them since deciding on the finish/hardware/plies/sizes/heads/etc. I was wondering if you thought it would be rude or annoying if I gave Maryland a call tomorrow afternoon and ask for a quick update on the kit. Do you think it would be better to ask my retailer even though they are very slow at doing so things sometimes? I don't want to annoy them at all, I admire the time any energy they put into the kit and would wait another 3 months if I had to; I just want to know how far along my kit is. Thanks guys.

i don't think it would be a problem if you called them. just don't make a big habit of it and call very often. but if you havent herd from them for a while then i don't see a problem with it.

my name's liam, i'm 17, i live in a little town south of edmonton, alberta.

i've had my drums for about 2 years, but i've only been playing seriously for a total of about 9 months approx.

some of my influences are: danny carey, carter beauford, john bonham, stewart copeland, ben koller, dan trapp, and josh freese.

i try to listen to as much music as i can, and i'm always arranging songs myself. at the moment i have 16 full songs on my computer, plus about 50 sheets of paper in my basement full of ideas.

i play drums, guitar, bass, a little bit of piano, and accordion (i'm waiting for my grampa to find time to teach me). 2 instruments i want now are a ukulele, and bagpipes.

Yeah xgretschx that's what I was thinking. I spoke to them once before ordering and everything else was done through the dealer. I think enough time has passed for a well timed update. I wouldn't call more than once, or in anyway, shape, or form rush them; I'm just getting a little excited. I just don't want to sound like I'm angry or upset because I'm not at all. Any ideas on how to phrase the call?
