Haha.

Good opening week for the 6 Nations rugby.

England over Italy, Ireland over France, Wales over Scotland.

I'm 3 from 3 in my tipping so far.

And then we've got the crucial cricket test tomorrow, it's a good season of sport. Australia weren't convincing in their win over New Zealand last time, can't say I'm 100% confident in them forcing a decider in the 5th match.

Chu 02-09-2009 03:23 AM

If McCallum's shoulder wasn't hurt, we'd have lost imo.

gaslight 02-09-2009 03:29 AM

Yeah, I agree.

The worst part of it is that our batting was quite good, this time we were let down by our bowlers and fielding. Bracken was not in form at all, and even Mitchell Johnson missed a simple run out. Looked very shakey out there. Hopefully they've got their shit together tomorrow.

gaslight 02-09-2009 04:14 AM

I'd love a good drum program. I might hold off until I have a good sound computer though.

RunAmokRampant 02-09-2009 04:35 AM

Man this 'Never Better' album by P.O.S is amazing.

gaslight 02-09-2009 05:00 AM

The other night I dreamt I had this amazing new album on my desk that I wanted to check out. I can't remember what it was or even if I have bought an album lately that I forgot to listen to.

Anyone bored enough to do lists of the last 3 albums we bought in physical form?

RunAmokRampant 02-09-2009 05:13 AM

Mindsnare - Disturbing the Hive
Five Star Prison Cell - Slaves of Virgo
Between the Buried and Me -Colors

Eh, I generally pick something up if I pass by JB HI-FI if I see something interesting.

blueyxd 02-09-2009 05:15 AM

I can't even remember properly, I've got a feeling they are

Five Iron Frenzy - Upbeats & Beatdowns
Delerium - Semantic Spaces
Fagan - Shipping Secrets

2 from cash converters, 1 from ebay. All were good. I knew that Five Iron Frenzy are ska, but it turns out they are Christian as well. They didn't sing very much about Jesus or religious things, so it's all good.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 02-09-2009 05:18 AM

Catch 22 Live
The Essential Stevie Wonder
Dropkick Murphys - Blackout

RunAmokRampant 02-09-2009 05:18 AM

Ya I don't like when Christian bands blather on aka Underoath.

Mewithoutyou rules though.

@IWRP: Did you see Dropkick Murphys a few weeks ago when they toured?

gaslight 02-09-2009 05:19 AM

Man I'd love to see a Ska For Christ compilation.

I think my list is

Greg Coffin Trio - It's Neither Either Or. It's Both And.
Trio Of Doom - Trio Of Doom
Karma County - Happy Birthday Dear Customer

Aes820 02-09-2009 05:20 AM

Augie March - Watch me Disappear
Between the Buried and Me - Self Titled
Tomahawk - Self Titled

I like Delerium, they are pretty good.

i saw them at the Big Day Out if that counts?

i hadn't really heard their music and then saw them after Fantomas and they were pretty sweet

blueyxd 02-09-2009 05:21 AM

The only good horn is a trumpet or trombone

Aaron 02-09-2009 05:22 AM

I've got a better one ;)

blueyxd 02-09-2009 05:24 AM

is that so, euphonium boy?

I want to write an extremely technical song in fruity loops... it's going to be difficult

gaslight 02-09-2009 05:30 AM

Don't care for saxophones?

StreetlightRock 02-09-2009 05:30 AM

Optikatechniqua - Sinister Dub
Maxine Kauter - Maxine Kauter EP

Last two I can remember. It's been a while.

But really, I only bought them because I couldn't find them for download

blueyxd 02-09-2009 05:36 AM
Don't care for saxophones?
Woodwind.. apparently. I guess that's due to the reed

gaslight 02-09-2009 05:38 AM

Oh, you just mean the brass family?

Chu 02-09-2009 05:45 AM

Probably the last 3 Dream Theater albums for me. lol

I would buy Out of Myself by Riverside, but it wasn't available at JB last time I checked.

gaslight 02-09-2009 05:46 AM

JB rarely has the DVDs I want :(.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 02-09-2009 05:51 AM

jb has good sales dvds.

gaslight 02-09-2009 05:56 AM

I just thinking, what would be the criteria that someone is an uber-geek.

I've boiled it down to one question - have you ever used a laptop while sitting on the toilet.

I think that is the ultimate decider.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 02-09-2009 05:58 AM

no, i have not done that ever

RunAmokRampant 02-09-2009 06:13 AM

Me neither.

I've answered my mobile one time when I was on the Shitter. Quite an unusual experience.

gaslight 02-09-2009 06:32 AM

Neither have I. I'm willing to be at least one person has though.

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 02-09-2009 06:38 AM

yeah it's probably been done by someone
