/has a new song up on the first page.

I feel sick. All feverish.

(*The Noonward Race*) 04-09-2007 04:47 PM
Yeah well, I worked very briefly with it, but I kinda liked how to use it. I read a quick tutorial and got to work with some beats but nothing concrete, really.
you know you can input midi into it without a midi keyboard very easily.. thats why i use it, it easy for me to compose on it. even though i have a keyboard i use only when i really want accurate note dynamics

TojesDolan 04-09-2007 04:47 PM

/is aware but is too busy to listen at the moment

:(

I'll make room for critique and listening tomorrow ... =)

Otherwise I have six songs on my internets.

sweet i like the second one

TojesDolan 04-09-2007 05:01 PM

it's basically me playing around with modes and actual composition.

(*The Noonward Race*) 04-09-2007 05:05 PM

i can tell you're being pretty diatonic which is cool and less uneducated then a lot of people, what's fun is making a drone and trying to get lociran or phyrgian whatever sounds from it which you're probly doing. also synthetic scales like whole tone, dminished or symetrical are fun to make chords from and stuff idk, jus' like talking

TojesDolan 04-09-2007 05:13 PM

yeah I was also looking at other modes and what not to see what I could do, read some about chord construction, but I think I can work stuff out better on a synth or whatev when it comes to making the chords, but I'm planning to record more as soon as I buy new strings for my electric.

Also I have to work on further than diatony, which implies a lot of reading and what not.

I used a tritone there.

Surf 04-11-2007 06:55 AM

Yeah, I still got a week and a bit left before stuff starts again. I'm bored tbh.

Going to look at a car this afternoon, so that might help alliviate boredom.

I shall have to make a driving cd.

TheBigMachine 04-11-2007 06:56 AM

several, driving cd's i'd say.

man, i really have some creative juices flowing, but i dont have a canvas and i dont know how to play any other instrument except for drums.

****.

Surf 04-11-2007 07:01 AM

Yeah, lots of hip hop methinks. 4 white guys in the back of a small hatchback shouting along to X Gon Give It To Ya is quite a sight to behold.

I had that creative thing a few weeks back. So I started teaching myself the piano. That helped a bit.

TojesDolan 04-11-2007 07:01 AM

I was bored, but actually it's good depending on your parents because it's free.

Surf 04-11-2007 07:03 AM
