Sadly, I did notice.

I see that Gav is still here, awesome. Could someone inform me about the Wintermute Roast? It says it at the poll and I have no idea what's up.

Basically gav came up with the idea to make a annual roast, and wintermute was the first roastee so basically we pelted him with insults, the same thing is happening to gav at the moment. :thumb:

That sucks. Has anyone sent out a search party yet?!?!?!?!

Haha. Any new equipment between you two since you're the only one talkin to me right now.

Left Shoe 01-19-2005 08:35 PM

new band *notice avatar* and new DR strings, getting a jp custom for my birthday maybe

bottlerocket 01-19-2005 08:37 PM

I installed new PUPs on my Fender J. I got DiMarzio Ultra Jazz, and I plan on getting a Hipshot A bridge, new tone and volume control buttons, and a tortise shell pickguard.

I got a Ibanex Sr 305 DX and a Fender Rumble 100w Combo for X-mas.

*notice saying above avatar*

bottlerocket 01-19-2005 08:43 PM

^ Ibanex? Is that a new brand? :p

Sounds sweet. Personally, I'm not a fan of Fender Amps...the only thing I actually like by Fender is the J bass.

haha, that's totally my setup, except my bass is like from 98 and the phat preamp died and I cut it out.

Hey man if you look at the keyboard x is right next to z. easy mistake to make.

And if it were up to me I would have gotten a Marshall but we know a guy at Fender so we got a discount. I don't mind though. Bigger than my Fender 15w Frontman.

bottlerocket 01-19-2005 08:47 PM

So what is everyone up to?

About to pop a bag of popcorn and try to memorize a ridiculously complicated poem by tomorrow.

Yeah, just make sure you unplug all your chords when you're done playing. It should be fine.

What poem is that? I had to memorize Old Ironsides once. Last year, I had to memorize Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll. I still remember both to this day...

...but I still don't see the educational value.

Hey man no problem. I know you enough for that. I probably should a smiley or something to show that I wasn't like....... mad or anything.

As for the Carvin cabs, I haven't really used alot of Carvin anything (my guitar center stocks like 2 basses and an amp at a time <<<<<exaggeration)

It's called the Twistable Turnable man.

It's more like a silly poem or something but for my Drama class I have to memorize it. It's more like a extremely long tounge twister, that's the hard part. We have to say it fast too. I'll take some time and type it up. Give me a sec.
