All of the sports teams at my school suck, mostly because they are a bunch of drunken coke heads.

asdf 10-22-2005 01:46 PM

My school is obsessed with sports, espcially football. It's to an insane degree.

My school just won their 100th golf tournament or something like that, so we all got free donuts and apple cider.

RetiredAt21 10-22-2005 01:49 PM

I would play golf.

Brain Toad 10-22-2005 01:50 PM

All my school ever got from sports was ugly cheerleaders and dumb ralleys that I never could skip, except that one time where we all ran for my friends car, went to one guys house and ate fried chicken. That was a good day.

Angry Balled Fists! 10-22-2005 01:50 PM

Bleh, i don't get it.

Proper football (soccer) is amazing though.

You might not get it, but the passion of it and the support her in England and europe is amazing.

There is a passion and support towards American football too. And lots of violence just like soccer.

Girls like that are said to have a "butter face". Everything is nice "butter" face

I know, but i'm pretty sure it's not the same.

Although our football team is one of the best in the state, we had the most god-awful cheerleaders. They wer eall ugly, and there were only about 8 of them. They all called it quits this year, so now there's no cheerleaders, thankfully.

Pep Rallys are the worst thing. At my school, if you get caught skipping, you get an unexcused absense for all your classes. You can't call and get your parents to excuse you, either. I skipped last year without problem, but this year I got caught with my friends. One of my friends just kept walking, but me and two others turend around. We didn't go in the pep rally, though, we sat outside. It wasn't as good as skipping, but it was so much better than the blistering headache I would've gotten, had I been in the gym.

Brain Toad 10-22-2005 02:10 PM

I don't know the consequences for skipping the rallys at my school because it was hard to do it, because the teacher watched you as you went to the gym, and then it was like a herd of cattle going in, so going the oppisite way was impossible. But when we skipped we just went out of our class before and bolted for the car which was parked just outside the gate, then took off past the asst. principal.

I was always deaf after rallys, it was horrible.

obese_breasts 10-22-2005 02:12 PM

All our rallies are out doors and they have secruity at all the exits of the school, but my friends and I end up ditching them by going into the theater/music wing.

asdf 10-22-2005 02:12 PM

The way I skipped last year was walked around upstairs for awhile, until everyon left. We heard some people coming so we hid in the bathroom. A janitor kicked us out, so we walked downstairs, but when we walked downstairs, we noticed that no teacher was guarding the door, so we left through the teacher's parking lot. We went to a local resturaunt and bought some nachos. Good times.

Liebensaft 10-22-2005 02:14 PM

I can only recall 1 pep rally. I was fortunate to get a seat at the top of the bleachers, giving me quite a vantage point for throwing shit.

Anarcho Poser 10-22-2005 02:16 PM

My school has no football team. It's too small. And this year was the first year we've ever had a pep rally (as far as I can remmeber,) but it took place after school, so it wasn't manditory.

asdf 10-22-2005 02:16 PM

I went to the pep rally freshman year. I knew that after that I wasn't going to any more of things of that sort. Fortunately, by that time the next year, I made some friends who knew how to skip, and were willing to do so.

I've still never skipped a class, though.

Culture Shock 10-22-2005 02:25 PM

When I was in high school I always had the choice to go to a study hall as an alternative to the pep rally. The study hall always ended up with just me and about 20 of my friends with a few other odd kids alone in the auditorium. Those were the good old days.

Contrary to popular belief, some people in a American DO like soccer and I am one of them!

Angry Balled Fists! 10-22-2005 02:25 PM

I'm in our schools 'soccer' team, we came second this year, after a stupid draw against a crap team.

Liebensaft 10-22-2005 02:28 PM

I'm a sophomore, and in my freshman year we only had 1 pep rally I can remember. I'm guessing there will be another pretty soon, and I'm planning on bringing as much ammo as possible, or finding a way out of it.

pedro durruti 10-22-2005 02:35 PM

If your assemblies are at the end of the day, just skip

Anti-Prefix 10-22-2005 02:37 PM
Sam, did you get yourself a lady to go with?
No, but I'm leaving in like an hour. I'm really nervous.

I heard at homecomings the big kids stuff kids into lockers, or they just beat you up. But thats just what I heard...oh well, have fun.

RetiredAt21 10-22-2005 03:14 PM

That never happens.

lynch_me 10-22-2005 03:15 PM
That never happens.
You're in denial because it happened to you.

RetiredAt21 10-22-2005 03:16 PM

No...no it didn't. :(

Flagjacket 10-22-2005 03:30 PM

We tricked a kid into shutting himself into a locker once.

Brain Toad 10-22-2005 05:00 PM

My sophmore year in the rallys we would just screw around, throwing stuff, chanting weird things, etc. In 11th grade and 12th grade there was mosh pits started up by the hot topic kids a couple times. They made them somewhat interesting, but overall they were crap.

lynch_me 10-22-2005 05:14 PM

Mann, I want to go to the store but it's raining and pitch dark out.

Liebensaft 10-22-2005 05:18 PM

I laugh at the word mosh pit. It's just one of those words I try to avoid saying for some reason. I like them and have been in my fair share, but when kids who have never attended concerts in their life shout it and start running in a circle, it kind of just makes me want to punch them in the throat.

I hate hot topic kids. They make me want to puke.

Buzzbomb 10-22-2005 06:45 PM

My school doesn't have a football team, we have an Ice Hockey, Basketball, Soccer and a Volleyball team. There is pep ralleys but we don't have to go to them, in fact they happen during lunch hour and its not manditory
