YES, I KNOW IT'S NOT GRIND LEAVE ME ALONE WE TRIED. Our vocalist wasn't there, so we had to use crappy voice synth and we were kind of stuck on writing riffs. Those songs were recorded after half an hour of practice at the most.

Basically we talk and exchange phone numbers and there's no real agreement because he says legally it's my fault but I mean it's at a res hall, he should have been paying attention. So I'm kinda hoping he'll split it even with me when I figure out what I'm doing because I admit some fault, but I can't logically say something like that was entirely my fault.

However I still have to take my trashed bike back to my dorms a few blocks away because some of it is salvageable I think. On my way back one guy offers to help me take it wherever I'm going. Another gives me his number and says he has an old bike he'll sell me for a good price if I'm interested, and if not he'll give me an extra frame he has. He also offers to help me get to where I'm going. Those weren't the only two people I ran into, but honestly having two total strangers offer to help me like that was really nice. I turned down their help both times because I was so hyped on adrenaline I didn't feel I needed help, but I might get a cheap replacement and that'd be great.

Of course upon arriving back in my dorm I pretty much collapsed and right then it pretty much hit me how lucky I was to be alive. I think I zoned out for a good half an hour there thinking about that. Went to the bathroom to clean out all my cuts, then went and did laundry. Man, I'm still shaking.

I'm just glad I'm ok. Minus some cuts and bruises I'm not hurt at all. My bike is replaceable, I'm not. It might seem like I've been fairly unlucky lately, but at the end of the day I'm lucky I'm alive. Takes a brush with death sometimes to remind you of that. And of how much you'd lose if you died today.

So did the car actually go on top of you? If so, how did your ribs/legs/arms not get crushed?

Heh, I'm still freaking out. It's gradual as the adrenaline etc is fading...

Spence: I don't know, it ran one wheel entirely over me. There have been stories where people's heads are run over and they don't get hurt. I guess I'm just really lucky.
