You can get pedals which do that for you.
But then.. I can't use a soldering iron. |
LOL. That probably makes you look like a humongoid douchebag.
I hate Fender Jazz basses.
But with these new DiMarzio UltraJazz pickups in there, I absolutely love how it sounds. I have each pickup wired in series/parallel with the push/pull on each volume knob, so it sounds absolutely wonderful. I'm going to cry. My uncle's bass will finally get used now that it doesn't sound like poopy. |
I absolutely adore fender Js
|
been waiting over an hour for a pzza to turn up now :(

The new "Buffalo Whatachicken" from Whataburger definitely does not contain buffalo sauce. It's more like a spicy, less-sweet chipotle. I'm just going to order the regular Whatachicken with jalapenos and smother it in my own bottle of Franks Red Hot sauce.
Just a heads up to anybody who likes red buffalo sauce. |

I absolutely hated the sound of the stock pickups in my '96 MIM Jazz. The custom shops would have been nice, but I went with the DiMarzios because they were cheaper and sounded like they'd suit my style better. |
I forgot - no mail today - USPS had the day off. New pickguard & hipshot ultralites should be here tomorrow.
In other news, I need to figure out a better design for a p-pickup router template - mine has made my routes sloppy. Hopefully I can figure out a way to clean them up a bit. |

Would have been free had you ordered Domino's, but I think that policy went out the window when that thieving Noid came onto the scene. |
Actually that policy is very lenient...
|
im glad i live a block and a half from the cheapest pizza place in town.

little caesars
|
nothing beats homemade Italian pizza...
|
Dominos is the only place that delivers to my house. Luckily they finally have two pizzas that aren't gross. Mediterranean Veggie and Memphis BBQ Chicken. The latter is kind of weird, but delicious.
|
It was Dominos! But we've never had the free pizza over 30 minutes thing here :/
|
Like I said they can just be like oh well you gave us a bad address causing us to be late... The dominos near my area were d-bags about that because the ****in drivers were retarded and could drive worth **** so they would constantly come up with excuses why they couldn't make it there in time eventually the owner took sides with them so much they wouldn't deliver to our place they said we had to pick it up or we wouldn't get it...

This 6 stringer is pretty darn fun after all.
Better get me some straplocks for it. |
Better get me some straplocks for it.
That's the first thing that I do with EVERY bass that I get. In other news, I routed the reverse-P pickup cavity a little small, so I'll have to go back over it today and take off about 1/16" from each side (and tighten up the corners). Then she's ready for a paint stripping and a nice black base coat. |
Nice. I probably should have bought them when I picked it up now that I think of it :p. I'd only been awake for like half an hour at the time though.

Nobody's going to stab you for it, but if they aren't on within the first two weeks, no guarantees... Gawd, I need to sell sh*t. I know I keep saying that, but I hate writing eBay listings. |
i need to get trained and certified to operate a forklift for my new job

Gawd, I need to sell sh*t. I know I keep saying that, but I hate writing eBay listings.
Haha well, I won't be using a strap with in until I have the locks so really it could persist indefinitely without them as long as I wasn't putting a strap on it. And Raayl that's killer dude, it's probably about the same difficulty level as operating a Bobcat (skid loader? whatever). |
i need to get trained and certified to operate a forklift for my new job
I can email you a copy of my forklift certification and you can just digitally change the information to your name... If you want... |
lol no its on the job paid training dude no worries thanks though
plus i actually have no idea how to do it and i would very much appreciate being instructed its not operating the thing that is new and scary its loading the trucks that are. its a big puzzle. an art, really. |
and yeah thats what it is its a skid loader
3 levers tilt up/down left/right the difficult part of the job is navigating the dock with big loads of freight and securing them down into the trailer and loading everything in order and effectively. cramming a whole lotta **** into a tiny space |
That and not crushing people.
|
or being crushed lol
but truth be told im not sure what im going to do. they just had me watching videos all last night. pay is GREAT though so thats awesome. 15.56 an hour USD |
Always make sure you're lifting from the middle position - having the forks to one side and lifting considerably lowers the max lift capacity. Also, it's annoying if you have a big load and need to shift it, only to find out that it already is.
The inching break is your friend. Tilt back the forks whenever you're carrying a load. You steer from the back - this will probably be the hardest thing to get used to, but it's extremely helpful when navigating sharp corners. Driving backwards is really easy. |

what is the inching break?
is that like the 3/4ths rule |
what is the inching break?
is that like the 3/4ths rule
The inching break (sometime called the clutch) is what you use to inch forward. It works like a break, but allows you to rev the gas to raise/lower the forks. I use it to slowly coast forward to a load while adjusting my fork height. |
