Just feeling unappreciated by my significant other.

Jody LeCompte 11-03-2006 01:40 PM

I had my former significant others little cousin(only 6 months younger) call and tell my former signifcant other that I have a horrible drug habit that eventually led to impregnanting the little cousin.
Just feeling unappreciated by my significant other.
gotcha

relationships can be a bitch... and you never really know if its even going to be worth putting all the effort into it.

i recently had a dealing with of that.... put everything i had into it, and it ended regardless of what i did or said.... sucks.

but on the bright side, you'll always have your music :thumb:

Jody LeCompte 11-03-2006 01:43 PM

When we were dating, she always had an extreme problem with me hanging out with her little "whore" of a cousin.

So now she thinks we're not only hanging out, but together, and having a child, and shes pissed.

Well that's just not very nice of them.

I hope you had a paternety test done, I would refuse to pay child support otherwise.

Does anybody has an opinion of that Peavey TNT 115 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp?

Jody LeCompte 11-03-2006 01:51 PM

Nothing special, but a damn solid amp.

sixner 11-03-2006 01:53 PM

pin - I had a TKO 115, same thing just less power........... its awesome. That thing was indestructable, really. i went through ALOT of punishment but it stood strong.

the weight and bad placing of handles are the only draw back though

pair it with a 2x10 (if need be) and it'd be even better :thumb:

Jody LeCompte 11-03-2006 01:54 PM

When I used to play for this church ensemble in downtown New Orleans they had 30 year old Peavey combo and a Peavey Foundation/Fender P both from '86 and strung with Fender Flats.

You want to talk about good tone?

Jimbobntnr 11-03-2006 01:55 PM

Ick. For the first time in my life I just received notice that I didn't make it into a band that I auditioned for.
"At this time we have decided to go with the fourth person we auditioned. We areally appreciate you auditioning. You are a great bass player, we just feel like this guy was a good fit for the band."

Pinhead13 11-03-2006 01:56 PM

There's one at a music store near me, I might go there tommorrow to try it out. I might sell my Rumble amp at ebay for at least $150.00

Jody LeCompte 11-03-2006 01:56 PM

I've never been in a real band?

sixner 11-03-2006 01:59 PM

Jody LeCompte 11-03-2006 02:01 PM

There aren't any bands around here except like...these two.
http://myspace.com/hedgefund
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=96362250

I've gigged with John Mark Gray and Ive played a few tunes with Hedgefund at a various gig, and I play at an open mic night, but no band.

I've been in "bands" but no one knows how to play around here, and the ones that do know how have no respect for my playing.

-shrug- I do the solo thing now

sixner 11-03-2006 02:04 PM

gotcha...

There's gotta be some sort of local scene going on?....

i dunno... go to your local campus area and check out a few bar shows or something, ask around for the best acts in the area.....
