Hi I'm Jon, I'm 16 and live in London, been drumming for about 3 years (i actually don't remember kinda woke up with a drum kit in my room after a drunk night out,yes when 13 it is possible to get alcahol.) Not had much to say about gigs, nothing special has come my way yet. In about 7 bands, all of which recently kicked off. Most of the stuff i'll b doing is studio atm so its kind of why i can manage to b in 7, when it comes to gigs im gonna hav to tell some to find another drummer i guess :lol:
Had about 7 gigs in my life. and played a drum duet with a m8 for our version of moby dick on 2 occasions (its starting to become routine really)
Mainly influenced by Metal drummers such as, Ulrich, Portnoy, Abe Cunningham, Carey, Raymond Herrera (or however the **** u spell it) Jordison, Grohl, Cavalera and loads of others.
That does not limit my taste in music to metal! I listen to Jazz like St.Germain and classic rock such as the Doors Hendrix nd Zepplin.

Recently switched from Mapex to Sonor drums, now playing a Sonor Force 2005 Birch kit with 10", 12", 13" and 16" toms with a 24" bass drum (customed) Havn't yet got a cymbal set of my own worthy of all ur others, a few staggs 16" sh crash nd a 10" sh splash, A 17" Zildjian Avedis Light crash and some 14" inch vintage zildj hats. Having sold my ride i am now pretty much in the market for rides.

I have a kinda mentor who lets me borrow his cymbals (i dont use all of them) which are worth mentioning. 15" Paiste soundedge high hats, 18" Zildjian China 20" Zildjian K projection ride, 17" Paiste signature power crash and a 16" paiste thin crash which im not entirely sure about the details.

Hardware i play include Janus double-bass transmission highhat pedals and about 4-5 boom stands :)

O yea, I juust got back from a two hour jam which was really good which i thought i recorded. Dam that mic. I played well too, i wish i could of posted it.

Cavalera is a class drummer

same with ulrich. if they influenced you, we wont care, just dont say their the best drummers or anything like that, just say their some of your favorites and youll be good.

I actually like most of Ulrich's older work, even now.

Mario is a very noble soul.

He's a hopeless romantic. He fell in love early on with Princess Daisy/Peach, but she was kidnapped by a gorilla and pulled up the platforms of a barrell factory, where he went under the moniker of "Jumpman" to try and save her.
In his success, they barely had any time to relax when she was again kidnapped by the foul Koopa/Bowser repeatedly and being so in love with her as he is, Mario decided to save her of course.

Also there's something in it for him, I mean in the entire Mushroom Kingdom, Peach/Daisy is the only female human, the rest of the population are mushroom people, turtles, or dinosuars, and Mario being the straight male human he is want's the poontang.
