who here has seen whitechapel?

god i wish they would still play articulo live, one of the coolest shows ever was my friends band, whitechapel, recon, and emmure at the old kbc. floor show pile on's where phil hands my friend mason the mic and ducks out as soon as the sing along starts for and now you rot.

yeah, that was the only time ive had fun for them though show was crazy since we weren't accustomed to shows that large for whitechapel back then.

word. emmure's singer is seriously one of the worst live vocalists i've ever witnessed.

eh, i don't really like them but they're nice guys gave me liquor after a show in chicago with misery signals.

yeah, their guitarist bummed me some cigarettes when i saw them with veil of maya, im just saying that theyre really bad musicians and their singer is terrible as well haha.

they diddn't really impress me live. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact the sound was sh*t, it was't loud at all, i mean you could still hold a conversation while they were playing and the vocals were WAY too quiet.

I greatly enjoy Whitechapel, but I don't really differentiate their songs. They don't vary all that much, so if I want a Wc song on a playlist I just pick one at random and it does the job.

also i find it ridiculous how popular suicide silence is..they got 1 mil views on their vids on youtube and 7 mil page views on myspace, **** that is some fast popularity there

dude deathcore and grind are like any other genre, there are good bands with good songwriting and there are horrible bands too. Deathcore is popular right now so it makes sense for SS to get popular very quickly. The same thing happened with JFAC, even though their new album has no "core".

I wouldn't say boring, but usually the most popular bands of a genre are the most generic. KsE, AILD, AtR, PwD for example in metalcore.
