Woodstock 09-26-2004 05:34 PM

The Wall, 100% sure

I'm good with the Floyd

guitarted838 09-26-2004 05:34 PM

why is jpj so unnoticed?

jpj 09-26-2004 05:35 PM

cuz the world is filled with ignorant douches

Woodstock 09-26-2004 05:35 PM
why is jpj so unnoticed?
Huh?

Edit late

gmoneyguy 09-26-2004 05:36 PM
cuz the world is filled with ignorant douches
This is very true. JPJ Is much more talented then he is given credit.

guitarted838 09-26-2004 05:36 PM

john paul jones, when you hear led zeppelin you think of jimmy page or john bonham but rarely does jpj come up

gmoneyguy 09-26-2004 05:38 PM

Most posers don't know who John Bonham is. Robert and Jimmy is what everyone thinks of.

jpj 09-26-2004 05:38 PM

cuz all the idnorant douches are like "OMG LEIK JIMMY PAGE OWNS!!BASS IS EASY THEY ONLY PLAY A NOTE AT A TIME LOL"

jpj 09-26-2004 05:39 PM

and most people dont realise he played more thatn bass. he also played some killer organ and mandolin. before he was in zeppelin he was an extrmely well respected studio musician, and also arranged music for the stones, jeff beck, and the yardbirds among others

guitarted838 09-26-2004 05:40 PM

almost no one knows how hard bass is and keyboards and mondolin aint a breeze either

gmoneyguy 09-26-2004 05:40 PM
and most people dont realise he played more thatn bass. he also played some killer organ and mandolin
yep.

guitarted838 09-26-2004 05:41 PM

if you've ever listen to "trampled underfoot" he is the best player in that song

jpj 09-26-2004 05:42 PM

yea, that song i a great example of his organ skills

guitarted838 09-26-2004 05:42 PM

actually he holds every song together

Woodstock 09-26-2004 05:43 PM
actually he holds every song together
Not every song.

guitarted838 09-26-2004 05:45 PM

ok sorry, but in all the songs he played in the song would be **** without him

Well_Respected_Man 09-26-2004 05:45 PM

So are there any Kinks fans here?

jpj 09-26-2004 05:46 PM

der, any song would be **** without bass. unless its like an acoustic folk song or something

guitarted838 09-26-2004 05:46 PM

hold on were talkin about jpj

guitarted838 09-26-2004 05:47 PM

has anyone seen the wall the movie?

jpj 09-26-2004 05:48 PM

the lemon song is a great example of his skills on the bass, its mostly improv and it just kicks ***

Woodstock 09-26-2004 05:49 PM
So are there any Kinks fans here?
jpj 09-26-2004 05:49 PM

1. Jimi Hendrix
2. The Who
3. Rolling Stones

van halen solos are pretty good i guess... but i'd rather go with Jimi Hendrix rather than just shredders...

guitarted838 09-26-2004 05:50 PM
