uhhhh p sure you like orchid, jeromes dream, pg.99 etc so that doesnt make a whole lot of sense

when i say chaotic i don't mean fast or heavy, i mean how it's structured. i don't like emo that has clean guitars and just random open chords hit with screaming in the background, it's really annoying.

both bands fall closer to hardcore but new capsule/furnace split is sweet

furnace is sick. i've only heard a demo my friend mason showed me a couple years ago when his band played with them, but i remember liking it a lot.

After School Knife Fight is like black metal for screamo kids, and it's probably the best music i've heard from the genre

wow seriously? that band is baaaaaaad. what was the album called "jousting with the intent of..." was only good when i was 15. and that's because i liked any band i saw on the first page of the emo/screamo community thread.

have you heard Just Die! i dont know your tastes too well but it seems like you'd be into them. I just downloaded No Time For Poetry and it's pretty good.

yeah i've seen those guys, they're from asheville which is like 90 minutes from knoxville. they're pretty good, i dig them quite a bit actually. kind of a like an emo carry on or a hardcore hot water music is how i think i saw MaximumRocknRoll describe them, lol.

Mouse Folk's singer is black, they ruled.

not saying there's anything wrong with it, it's just too funny looking.

I've seen too many black vocalists in metalcore/hardcore/emo bands for me to really even notice anymore.

Just Die! rule. I especially enjoy Garages and Basements.
