I was thinking about that when I wrote my last comment

I'm not offended by the violence or anything, I just realized that it was a lot more violent than most Megadeth. I found a really good Megadeth site that had interpretations of all the songs the other day. Dave said he was on speed, coke, and heroin when he made Peace Sells.

Yeah. I mean think about it just based on song titles. Black Friday (not saying it's a bad song, on the contrary) and just for giggles Meat Hook Sodomy or Fu*ked with a knife.

Sorry but CC gets the win for most violent.

Now for technical skill, that's a whole different story.

Metallion#666 10-26-2005 04:04 PM

Excellent album.
/no contest

lightningmetal666 10-26-2005 04:06 PM

I'm a guitarist and even I have problems with just the bassline.

Just demonstrates how awesome Megadeth is.

Britton 10-26-2005 04:07 PM

MegaDeth is incredible

My friend and I fight so much abut this issue

Maybe he's kinda caught up in the glam of Metallica or whatever he listens to and doesn't really consider the music itself.

I don't know your friend but he seriously needs to get into megadeth because it's the hardest type metal that I've ever tried to play.

Britton 10-26-2005 04:35 PM

It really is man..that's why I love it

Poison was the cure is a great song, but I'm just mad at it at the moment. I feel like an idiot when I try to play it because I can't.

Britton 10-26-2005 04:43 PM

It's that hard huh?
It's that hard huh?
Well for me it is. Mathias says he can do it. :thumb: to him for it.

RustedPieces 10-26-2005 05:18 PM

It's not that hard once you pratice it a lot and get used to it.

I really haven't had time to practice metal as of late.

My advanced rock group has a crap load of songs that I have to memorize and it's all pop not rock (except for the occasional AC/DC that I can bring in :) ) It's really lame. I've also been trying to write some of my own stuff.

I posted some ideas of mine in the slayer thread if you want to check them out.

Just reading that site, what does this:
...when Marty Friedman was auditioned to join Megadeth, he studied the songs from their first three albums, and nothing from the new stuff because they were afraid that if he didnt't make it, he would steal all their ideas.
Mean?

well that means(im guessing) that they were making there new album and that if he play some of there album they were making and he liked it, he could easily steal there stuff (sorry if i diddent answer it right)

I heard that "My Creation" song that we were talking about earlier. It was kind of retarded, it was a minute long, had lame riffs, and was about Frankenstien......

It's an extra track on Youthanasia.(remastered)
Pretty good instrumental, is like an extended version of the trust accoustic line, and like a 100 times better.

Thanx. I've been in kind of a slump as to how I should bridge the intro with the main riff. I have a couple ideas, but are kinda mediocre.

I've been working on some other cool stuff as well.

I think that I ended up with a remastered version. I got it for free from a guy I used to know. I'm not really complaining though. After all it's still Megadeth.
