Yea, they both played live, but greenday did a live proformance from the states.

niether of them miimed, niether did good charlotte, they all played live.

What's the point in a band just going up there and pretending to play their instruments and not singing the words?

Nirvana did it because they were forced not to dod it by the record label so they took the piss, and it was quite funny

I like Muse's performance though, with the whole instrument swapping deal. TOTP can not handle proper live performances, usually all they expect is somne rip off corporate singer and a backing track, not a full band

Most acts have a backing band now.

True, but most are hired musicians, and not full timers. I always feel sorry for those who do play full time, as they get no credit, like (sigh) Robbie William's backing guitarist, he's got a few good solos and stuff

I dunno if they are watching joss stone last night i noticed she always has the same band, as i saw them on glastenbury and other shows. I think a lot of the backing bands do actully tour with the artist.

They are Sessional Musicians. That's what I want to be you get to play for every one tour world wide and well it's cool.

im in a band with a few friends and we write some heavy stuff.
if you ever hear of us when we get huge and famous (i wish...) were called Shadowfaith. listen out in the next couple of years if we can find our feet...

My best mates college will let us. They have proformance stages and stuff too so we can do gigs, i dunno if we are as we lak a drummer and vocals.

We dont have a name, yet, but we play pop-punk stuff, not done to much jamming recently 'cause of college, but im gonna get my guitarest up for the night to do some righting :cool:

I know, drummers are a bitch to find, we think we might hace one, ive been layign for about 10 month or so.

we have a singer whos a bloke but can sing like a woman sumhow, and he has an anger problem which i find v funny cos he gets angry v easily!!! :lol:
