My dispute with massmusic is finally over, *relief*

Corkofski 12-01-2006 07:26 PM

tell?

Brokensticks 12-01-2006 07:29 PM

I was wondering too but didn't want to ask incase it had already been discussed and I just missed it.

drummerdave 12-01-2006 07:33 PM

well, i bought a yamaha copper nouveau snare back in august. when i got it it was dented behind a lug and the snare bed was bent. so i sent pictures to them in an email. i received my drum on august 15th i believe, and i sent them an email a few days after. they replied on august thirtieth, asked for some of the information on the order and such, and i asked them what they could do. they email me back after about two or three weeks. now its late october. they had me ship it to them after they email me and say that they have to send it to yamaha because yamaha doesnt believe the pictures. so i get another email from them about 2 weeks later. they're saying they cant find the dent! and they want to take another four weeks to get a new bottom rim from yamaha! so i told them no, and that i wanted my money back. in my first email conversation that i had, which was with andy, i asked if i had to worry about the return policy, he said no. when i got their email again they said that it had been too long and cant refund the money. so i reply, and tell them that they are flat wrong. they didnt want to refund my money because i hadnt reported the damage until october thirtieth (basically they completely overlooked the entire conversation i had with andy). i just got an email from them, and the check is in the mail.

Brokensticks 12-01-2006 07:36 PM

Glad the money is back on it's way, that sucks they put you through that dude.

I have been having problems with massmusic myself.

drummerdave 12-01-2006 07:39 PM

the only reason i ordered through them was for the prce and because i heard good things about them and they're customer service, im not sure if i'll order from them again.

Brokensticks 12-01-2006 07:39 PM
What, the checkpoints or the lame reduced-speed highways?

Regardless, they're both insanely lame.

The checkpoints serve no purpose at all, they're a waste of space, time and money.

'Specially money.

This whole border thing blows, I can't wait to move to the midwest...all I have to worry about there are Neo-Nazis, and you can't tell I have Jewish heritage.

But yeah, the towns around here are damnably poor and do whatever they can to make money.

I got a parking ticket once for $75 freaking dollars when I wasn't even really doing anything wrong.

Most parking tickets are like. $20.

Part of it was also my out-of-state plates though...even though I'm allowed to have them, policemen get all pissy about it.
Well, both. Pennsylvania (just north of me), is infamous for their 15 mile long work zones, where there's NEVER any work, with a speed limit of 45. Parking tickets are usually more like 10 bucks, haha.

Janeway 12-01-2006 08:12 PM

Oh **** ****ing Christ. =/

Everybody is losing power.

Dammit. Not again. =/

spirit 12-01-2006 09:36 PM
i'm guessing wrestling

I had assumed that much, and we don't even have wrestling over here.

I was referring to the 4 pounds in 4 hours. Firstly, how? Secondly, isn't that unhealthy?

lmldrummer 12-01-2006 09:47 PM

oh
my bad

people at my school are retarted

there's this guy doin wrestling, he weighs like 160, and at the beginning of wrestling season, he said he was goin down to 145
then he changed it to 153 i think it is, 150 somethin

and the other day @ lunch, he had a full plate of nachos and other crap, that wouldn't help him lose weight, and said he was still hungry, so went back and got more

Quinto 12-01-2006 10:27 PM

im cutting to 160, ive got a tourney tommrow.

i lost al that by, lets see:
eating 800 calories today
drinking no water
running 2 miles in 3 sweatshirts, long johns, fleece pants, and trash bags
and sitting in the hot tub for an hour, in addition to wrestling practice.

yeah its really unhealthy, i think it stunts growth, makes you sick, and destroys you immune system, eats away your muscle, etc.....
lol

spirit 12-01-2006 10:40 PM

So basically, by being anorexic, and generally being an idiot?

Eactly how useful is a wrestler with osteoporosis?

Charlie Manson 12-01-2006 10:44 PM

yeah dude thats petty gay... do you make a living from wrestling?

Electric Requiem 12-01-2006 11:00 PM

I just finished watching Porcupine Tree live at Rockpalast.
It was awesome.

drummerdave 12-01-2006 11:12 PM

on what? dvd?

Loser 12-01-2006 11:13 PM

If I wrestled, I'd not only quit, but I would just accept whatever weight I am rather than starving myself. I like eating.
