Heh, I can't stand it when I have alot of work to do, I'd much rather be drumming, or hanging out with friends, or smoking up, or whatever.
Yeah, sometimes I get frustrated when I can't play my drums because I often get home too late at night. Most of the activities that keep me busy involve drumming or something else music related anyway though so it's all good.

I still get time on the weekends to hang out with friends, and sometimes (like maybe tomorrow night) even smoke up >_>

A bad thing though, is that I have a hard time relaxing sometimes, because I always have something I could be doing and feel guilty for just doing nothing. :upset:

LoneStarDrummer 11-30-2006 11:20 PM

it's 32 degrees here and it'll be down to 26 tonight. i'm a texan. i'm not used to this. especially considering it was a warm day yesterday

Sunshine 11-30-2006 11:25 PM

I live in AZ.

It was 25 degrees when I left for school this morning.

I couldn't close the front door with my bare hand.

Sunshine 11-30-2006 11:32 PM

Fuck it.

If I still have the nerves on Tuesday, I'm cuttin' me a mohawk.

[Read: Going to the salon in the mall and getting my buddy Sarah, who always cuts my hair on Tuesdays at 4:00, to cut me a mohawk.]

LoneStarDrummer 11-30-2006 11:33 PM

yeah this morning was a surprise. i'm in college, so i walk to class and i was expecting it to be like yesterday morning. i head out the door and i was instantly cold beyond comfort.

then after class on my way back to my room, it was drizzling quite bad. luckily i had a big presentation to give so i was already wearing a long sleeve button up and a suite jacket.

Sunshine 11-30-2006 11:45 PM

Heh.

I hate it.

It looks super sunny and warm.

But it's a dry cold.

So it eats through all of my jackets [that I wear at the same time] and bites the bone.

TTTSNB 11-30-2006 11:48 PM
Haha, seriously?
Mine grew from shaved [razor #4; its like an inch I think] to neck in like 2 months.

My dress will be awesome.

Wide-strapped, high-cut tanktop top with corset back, and the skirt..is insanely hard to describe via internet, but it's floor, and while it's not Cinderella poofy, it won't be straight down, either.

I'll probably have zippers or D- or O- rings attatched, too, if I don't do that part myself.

The entire thing will be red plaid.

And I'm running for prom queen
Indeed. That's absurd, I hate you. :p Sounds cool, good luck with that, I'm sure you'll do fine. By the way, do you hate snow/ ice as much as I do.

LoneStarDrummer 11-30-2006 11:48 PM

hell yeah. i try to judge the weather by looking out the window, but it doesn't exactly give you a good idea, much like today.

i'm gonna have to bust out the heavy jacket tommorrow.

Win A Rabbit 11-30-2006 11:51 PM

Today was a nice warm -10 degrees. It was actually walkable weather, which was nice. Except the damn wind blows the snow into my old footsteps, so I'm walking through snow up past my ankles every time I don't go along the sidewalks (which is almost always, I never go the main roads).

Brokensticks 11-30-2006 11:51 PM

Cheap Trick is awesome!

Haha, some people are just blessed :p

And yeah, thanks.
Even if I don't win for prom queen, I just think it'd be funny to run.
I think I'm wearing combat-esque boots.

Well, my thing is like.
Unless I'm snowboarding, in nice soft powder, it had better not be under 80 degrees.

78 is on the verge of acceptable.

But I do hate ice =(

Better not be under 80??? That's like 25 celsius or something, right?

We were at -40 celsius here the other day with windchill. -40 is the same in both celsius and fahrenheit, I believe. (For some reason I'm thing -44, but whatever, it's close). That's a 120 degree fahrenheit difference. :amaze:

Aaron 12-01-2006 12:02 AM

I think 80 is between 25~30.

And the one that's the same is like -32.

But yeah haha.

I really hate being cold, and I get cold really easily.

"Room temperature" is like 72 or 74, but I'm still uncomfortable at that.

Aaron 12-01-2006 12:09 AM

not much kelsey. on holidays, i spent the entire day playing runescape :(

Brokensticks 12-01-2006 12:09 AM

I'm tired as hell, I guess I'd better get to bed. After all I don't end up sleeping until about an hour after i actually go to bed. Takes about 35 mins to read a bit do situps and brush teeth pee etc... Then the time it takes to fall asleep.. Well it looks like I better go.

Good night all!

I love drums :chug:

Sunshine 12-01-2006 12:09 AM

I kind of almost miss runescape.

I was awesome.

I was a geek.

LoneStarDrummer 12-01-2006 12:09 AM

still smells like pot. must not be you. you may come back now, but keep it down.

edit: to futuro

_Wrathchild_ 12-01-2006 12:10 AM

I have decided exactly what I want to do with my life.

When I grow up...I'm going to be a matress tester.
It's the only job I can think of where I could get paid for sleeping.

LoneStarDrummer 12-01-2006 12:11 AM

not a job

i already looked into it

that task it reserved for the r&d team. requires too much work to be on the team

Futuro 12-01-2006 12:12 AM

im gonna be an astronomer

and look at uranus

/not clever :(

_Wrathchild_ 12-01-2006 12:12 AM

But someone has to check the matresses to make sure they're comfy and fit for sleeping on!

Way to wreck my dream :upset:

LoneStarDrummer 12-01-2006 12:13 AM

haha. nice choice futuro

hey wrath your not the only one, i had those dreams too. i even wanted to work at a matress store but you can't take your breaks on the mattress, you have to take it in a crappy work room

Sunshine 12-01-2006 12:14 AM

I wanted to be the person who tests Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavors at one point in time.

But there's only 1 guy who gets to do that, some old guy.

I always kind of hoped the opening would come up when I was legal working age, but I've given up on that.

My new dream is to be one of the back up people in Blue Man Group.

Not a Blue Man, but one of the people in the glowy suites in the back =D

_Wrathchild_ 12-01-2006 12:16 AM

Ok my new dream job is playing lead harp in my progressive metal band.

Since the whole matress tester thing didn't work out
