Those types of shoes have been around since before metal music, let alone emo. They originally had crepe soles but those tend to wear down quickly.

I listen to:

The Hitchers
Nekromantix
Tiger Army
The Horrorpops
Mad Sin
Mustang Lightening
Streetlight Manifesto
Catch 22
Voodoo Glowskulls
+ Various other rockabilly, psychobilly + ska.

Arock 11-30-2006 01:04 PM

DrumIntoTheNight 11-30-2006 01:31 PM
Hey guys got a question I was just wondering...

I have New Breed but haven't started it yet as I'm already working on Stick Control/rudiments, the Art of Bop Drumming and the stuff my teacher gives me. Should I start going through New Breed as well as all this or should I finish Art of Bop first so I can really get my teeth stuck in and concentrate on each one individually or should I do a little out of each together?

Please don't ignore me otherwise I'll be forced to have to waste the question on a new thread....!
Who's your teacher? :naughty:

Word.

maniac0796 11-30-2006 02:18 PM

How someone dresses or what music they listen to doesn't effect their personality. I listen to alot of dark/doom metal, yet i'm not a satanist... I wear skate shoes, but that doesn't make me a skater....

Grow up. Phil can wear whatever shoes he wants and not be an emo or whatever.

Corkofski 11-30-2006 02:24 PM

yea, i like heavy metal but i dont drink cats blood...

well...

Seafroggys 11-30-2006 02:25 PM

Have you guys ever gone to like a Best Buy, Fry's, or hell even a Guitar Center where they check your bag and receipt when you leave the building?

I have just found out that you don't have to do that. Once the product is placed in your bag at the register, it is in your possession, and any checking at the door is considered searching your person and property, thus you have a right to refuse.

Tim York!!!

stevensonmat2 11-30-2006 02:35 PM

Wouldnt that give them probable cause to detain you until authorities arrive?

We_Love_Lime 11-30-2006 02:36 PM

I never saw Dangermouse :(.

Sunshine 11-30-2006 02:56 PM

Alright, so Christmas is coming up.

And I have absolutely no money. At all.

My last $40 has to go towards my defensive driving course...damn ticket.

ANYWAY.

I have to make presents this year.

And I need ideas in a bad way.

Like, I have a lot of old (and often ugly) T-shirts that I can cut up and do with what I please.

Like I made my boyfriend a pillow out of one of my t-shirts that he really liked..I'm going to make my best friend a scarf out of some of the slightly less ugly ones...

But I need more ideas.

And it doesn't have to be just t-shirt inventions, there's other stuff I can make.

But I don't want to resort to making art for people.

Collages are too special, even for that (except for my boyfriend). And they take a long time, and I have an art class to do art for.

Any ideas?

Any at all?
