I don't have an absolute favorite, so this list of 10 is probably my favorite!

1. Happiness is a Warm Gun
2. Here Comes the Sun
3. Nowhere Man
4. In My Life
5. It's Only Love
6. Sexy Sadie
7. Helter Skelter
8. I Want You
9. Strawberry Fields Forever
10. She Said She Said

Tried to cover a broad margin with this list.
I believe you're thinking of Jimi Hendrix.

PS: wtf
No Jimi Hendrix was that asian guy.

You're thinking of Keith Moon. Man, that guy had a voice.

Neither do I, they just have way too many good songs.

I beleive Jimi Hendrix was an old, old, wooden ship, used back in the Civil War.

Krabsworth 02-11-2006 11:40 PM
I'm very sure they stop touring well before Abbey Road.
The Beatles last concert was August 29th, 1966 at Candlestick Park, in San Francisco. Abbey Road was released in 1969. I'm guessing they hardly even played any Revolver stuff (Revolver was released a few weeks before the final concert). I have heard Rubber Soul songs from them live, Nowhere Man sounded pretty cool live.

They probably did, as most bands do when they are on tour right before the release of a new album.

No I just looked it up on Wikipedia, we were both wrong. Jimi Hendrix was the name of Captain Jean Luc Picard's favorite comic book.

Beware my god-like powers of name-changing, fool. You have no idea what you are getting into.

This thread has become very spammy in my absence. Hilarious, but spammy.

A friend of mine just told me his opinion of the Beatles today. I believe his exact words were "poppy, girly, crap music." Methinks it's time for a compilation...:)

I think so too, and kick him in the nads.

Leper 02-13-2006 12:59 AM

I would've but he had a jock on (twas in between periods of a hockey game) thus rendering my nads kicking useless.

bcf717 02-13-2006 07:37 PM

Judging by his intellectual prowess in expressing well thought-out opinions, you could try punching him in the nose. That way you might break his finger......

That was actually pretty good

To bring this thread somewhat full circle, I learned some stuff about Ringo today. He spent a whole lot of time in the hospital when he was young for various reasons. One time his mother brought him a red toy bus and a toy drum. The boy in the bed next to him didn't have anything, so friendly Ringo leanedover to give him his toy bus, but he fell out of bed, smashing his head into a table and going into a coma. He missed so much schoolwork he could barely read or write, and he got put in a much younger class.

Poor Ringo :(

Krabsworth 02-13-2006 08:54 PM

My nose looks like Ringo's.

MidnightRider 02-13-2006 08:59 PM
My nose looks like Ringo's.
I feel bad for you. ;)

And yeah LepperMessiah, this thread has gotten kind of spammy, mainly thanks to my contributions.

I introduced a friend of mine to The Beatles through Revolver today while we were driving around. I was suprised at how much he liked it considering he listens to mostly mainstream rock and rap.

I need something to laugh at.

It's a damn good album, why wouldn't he like it? ;)

Krabsworth 02-13-2006 09:06 PM

Well, it isn't wide like his, but it looks like his did from the side.

MidnightRider 02-13-2006 09:09 PM

Well, my past attempts at introducing my friends to classic rock haven't gone too well.
