NP Sabaton - Primo Victoria

First Sabaton song I listen to...let's see how it turns out.

Tyler 06-22-2006 12:23 PM

I have a leak of the new Sabaton album, it's awesome but the quality is atrocious. It's way below 128 bitrate, though it says 192.

Deth 06-22-2006 12:25 PM

Is it as good as Primo Victoria?

Stormrider 06-22-2006 12:25 PM

I only have 2 songs: Primo Victoria and Thundergods. Just listened to them. I really like both :)

NP Savatage - Of Rage and War ...first Savatage song aswell for me.
Is it as good as Primo Victoria?
Yes.

I've only listened once because as I said, the quality of the rip I have is unbelievably terrible.
I want to go see Kamelot and Epica, but I have no way to get there...curse these stupid "have to drive when you're 16" laws. *grumble*

On the plus side, I finally got End Of An Era by Nightwish, after 6 days of downloading. It's been worth it so far...
Bah! Lucky bastard, I asked CD Plus down here if they could order it in for me but they couldnt find it on there computer dealie. I'd try and download it, but like you said, it'd probably take 6 days, and my computer crashes at least once a day, so I'd get nowhere fast.

Riva 06-22-2006 10:57 PM
hey atleast they play in your country, people like me and ollie have to travel halve way across the world to see them :(
Yeah, but the reverse is true for EVERY other Power Metal band in the world.

Stormrider 06-23-2006 12:06 AM

Got the album Primo Victoria from the Daily Upload. I'm loving it !

Another band I need to check out for next time I go into a cd store.

mynameischan 06-23-2006 12:11 AM

I'm not sure about that in other European countries, perhaps, but In England, Sonata Arctica don't play here, Children of Bodom don't play here, Iced Earth don't play here, Blind Guardian are doing one date here this year in London.

Ony Dragonforce could be described as playing in England with any regularity, or anywhere outside London, or a festival.

Edgy don't count, because they were only here because it was a tour WITH Dragonforce, same goes for Sabaton.

Stoic 06-23-2006 03:21 AM

Concerning Sabaton I've seen at least two of you guys mentioning the song Thundergods. Where did you find it?

Lord Abortion 06-23-2006 03:23 AM

I got it from Alex's spotlight on them.

Stoic 06-23-2006 03:28 AM

The thing is that Sabaton dont have such a song. Can you post some of the lyrics?

Lord Abortion 06-23-2006 03:36 AM

Tis off the unreleased Metalizer album.

Stoic 06-23-2006 03:39 AM

send it to me  pleeze :-*

Lord Abortion 06-23-2006 03:47 AM

On it's way, Oro.
Hehe, that's a Cathedral song, Oro the Manslayer:cool:

Stoic 06-23-2006 04:21 AM

I'm so fucking metal

So, I got the song, thank you young Oliver. Pretty good, it could have been included in Primo Victoria. I still cant understand how I missed it while Alex knew it.

Steerpike 06-23-2006 06:57 AM

I found it when I first downloaded a few tracks of Sabaton to find out what they sounded like. Stroke of luck.

Same happened to me. Downloaded Primo Victoria and Thundergods to see how they were like. Liked both, got Primo Victoria from the Daily Upload :p I need to buy it eventually.

I didn't know Thundergods wasn't released yet....

NP Axenstar - leading the blind

Stoic 06-24-2006 04:12 AM

Chinchilla! :D I've always seen good reviews about them but never listened to them because I couldnt get samples off their site

Father 06-24-2006 07:23 AM

I found it on slsk.

I'll send you a song or two if you want ... i cant send whole albums because my connection is too slow.

I liked the Vocals in some of the other stuff I heard but there was a different style of vocals on the album which put me off.

Stoic 06-24-2006 07:26 AM

Sure I would love a song or two if it's not a problem :) AcquiredDisguise@yahoo.gr

Father 06-24-2006 08:41 AM

OK sent.

In Two seperate Emails.

Stoic 06-24-2006 10:31 AM

Thanks :thumb:

Heh, pretty damn typical power band (Dio meets Maiden) yet quite catchy (Highest Price and Fight in particular) and with a funny name of course (Chinichilla  )

Riva 06-24-2006 06:48 PM

Never really like them, actually. Sort of like a too catchy version of Edguy.

Stoic 06-25-2006 05:40 AM

and I never really liked Edguy :D
