Touches are slightly smaller, and they have a slide bar on the front, and you use your finger to navigate. Nomads have a little wheel that you push up and down to scroll with. The touches are more expensive.

Ok.

The slide bar doesn't really seem like much more than the push wheel since it only goes up and down.

If it was something like the iPod click wheel it would be much more efficient.

They're hard to operate. Very sensitive.

Mute Print 12-05-2005 08:10 PM

I forgot to mention that the new thread title is amazing. Good call Spence.
what do you have against Vince?
Nothing, but in Jon's podcasts, he called Vince a stupid Mexican.

Mute Print 12-05-2005 08:23 PM

I might be wrong, but I think the title is based on the fact that Jon often calls Vince a Mexican.

/late

I need to grab some ice cream. My head is pounding from this chem essay, and my wrist hurts from the show Saturday.

Haha, my favorite part of any Bright Eyes song.

billiejoe84 12-05-2005 08:29 PM

Holy crap. I am in such a mess right now. As an added bonus, I think tonight is the night I gave up on women, as a general... thing.

Yes.

BridgeToSolace 12-05-2005 08:32 PM

Oh my...this thread title gives me a huge boner.

In other news, I just realized Bigwig is real cool. Not my type of band usually, but they bring the rockzors. http://www.purevolume.com/bigwig

Also, anyone who liked that Capital Tragedy band I did on my Breakdown podcast may enjoy this band:

http://www.purevolume.com/inkedinblood (Listen to "Lest I Sleep The Sleep Of Death, and their cover of "If I Died In Your Arms Tonight")

Their breakdowns are a similar style, just with more powerful vocals and no dissonance. They're really melodic, but at the same time they're heavier than Jessica Simpson's bra. Good stuff.

Also, if there's a snowday tomorrow, expect a new podcast.
They're hard to operate. Very sensitive.
You aren't going to get in trouble for being racial and all that?

(If you really want to piss Vince off, have the threadtitle be "Gaby Is Fat (And Jon Is PPOTM))

He isn't going to be on this month, so it's a good idea :shifty:

DJ Ducksauce 12-05-2005 08:36 PM

Haha. Heavier than Jessica Simpson's bra.

We might have snow tomorrow too. Snow in Texas?!?! WTF?!

pedro durruti 12-05-2005 08:36 PM

Has anyone seen FatPete around? If you have, tell him to make a late entry in the punk Christmas contest

Pazz 12-05-2005 08:37 PM

What? In Ontario there is like literally no snow. It came and then it all melted away. I would love for there to be a snow day this week because I thought we had a P.A. Day on friday but turns out it's only for elementary students.

Make an A Wilhelm Scream thread and he'll find you real quick.

A Bigwig thread will probably work too, but I'm not sure if I'm confusing him with Albert_Bassist on that.

Andy, you're a dumbass. He skanks it up here everyone once and a while.

Snow's in our forcast, but our weatherguys are never right.

What's a P.A. Day?

From tonight through tomorrow there's supposed to be about 4 inches of snow around my are of New England.

Probably wont be a snowday. Decent chance of a delay though.

A day off. I forget what it means exactly.

Well, I'm out.

billiejoe84 12-05-2005 08:43 PM

Good work, Andy :chug:

Also, congrats, Jon, on winning PPOTM. Frankly more deserved than any of the other nominees. I was pleased to get third, considering my general low profile on the forums.

Ah well, I wouldn't have deserved it anyway. Even if I was a Mexican... :p

""It stands for 'Professional Activity,'" one mom informed me. "The teachers' contract gives them time off to upgrade their skills." But no one seemed to know how PA days (or PD, for Professional Development, as they're called at some schools) came to be."

The interweb is an amazing contraption.
Ah well, I wouldn't have deserved it anyway. Even if I was a Mexican...
Meh, it's just a popularity contest. You only post enough to be in with the cool kids.

DJ Ducksauce 12-05-2005 08:53 PM

Last time it snowed, we got out early. That hopefully happens tomorrow before the classes with tests.
Meh, it's just a popularity contest. You only post enough to be in with the cool kids.

<--------------------
Aye. It's also a contest for rep. Speaking of which, how much did you get?

Sir, I am very aware of this. I also know that the coolest kids (eg, you, Vince, Brian, Spence, Kif, et cetera) are buddies of mine already. Frankly, finishing 3rd in PPOTM is a lot higher than I normally get, so I can't really whinge.

To be honest, I'm perfectly happy with people on here talking to me and respecting my opinions, which is already the case.

/me happy

250, about.

When I see Joel online I might ask him for more. That'll net me at least another 50.

At which point I'll still be about 550 away from start :p

No biggie.
