Come on, it's not that bad, is it? :smash: *searches for old, dusty school books to refresh grammar |
hmm...
I blame Hitler for all the worlds problems. Some kid came to me and was like. You saw baby Hitler and you had a gun, would you shoot him? What kind of bullshit question is that? I said No, because I don't know. Seemed like a good answer. Than he's like. You just killed 6million people. And that made my day. Than he called me a Jew hater. So than I said Yes. But that's a better answer, because not only do you save Millions of people in the 1940s, but you also spare the Middle East some conflict with Israel (Displaced Jews went to Israel after WWII). But if you said Yes, than Germany wouldn't really exist, because it was sorta down in the dumps before Hitler came. So than we wouldn't have Heineken, Volkswagon, BWM, or Mercedes. But if I said No. Than because Germany would be so far behind, the 2006 world cup wouldn't have been held there, and italy wouldn't have played France, and France would have won. W0oah! France owns. Stupid questions. Pnemoneya sucks CofDOOM! |
I'd shoot him in the foot just so he knows his place.
Actually you would have killed around 55 Million people - there were soldiers - and even civilists  - killed in the war too, not only jews ;) However, if Germany hadn't started the war, Russia would have and Japan definately too - they needed resources and wanted to create Panasia Not to forget: If you had shot him, maybe you would not be born because of the change of history and couldn't shoot him so he would survive and everything would be the same. |
so if he shot hitler, and because of that he ceased to exist, then he wouldnt have been able to shoot hitler. uhhhhhh
|

Yeah... changing history ain't that easy :p |
Hitler probably would've shot him first.
HEY!!!
Chad Smith. God people don't shut up about this man. Okay, he's good we get it. No need for a 6 page thread on drummerworld from people who praise his greatness. They use the word groove like it compensates for something. "He doesn't have chops, but he has groove." He's pretty "Groovy", but not "Groovy" enough IMO that he can replace chops with it. Jesus Christ. Stuff he plays isn't that hard. Pop in the Californication album, and your playing half the songs correctly even though its the first time you heard them. And don't give me non of this "But it's about the groove ****." It isn't that hard to Groove to Scar Tissue.
What? Also, come back when you've sold 20 millions albums. |
It isn't that hard to Groove to Scar Tissue.
:/ Disagree lime He may be a tad overrated, but he still an amazing drummer. And his chops do make up for his technical ability (he has tech ability just doesnt use it), he's playing for the music |
hitler's overrated. US did the same damn thing to the japs
|
hitler's overrated. US did the same damn thing to the japs
Minus the killing, of course. |
no we did that to, not to the extent, the government just wants to sugar coat it acting like we are perfect and can do no wrong.
|
What?
Also, come back when you've sold 20 millions albums.
Way to interpret what I wrote. And whats the difference betwean chops and technical ability? Oh and with Israelis doing the same to Palestinians. |
Eh, I meant his Groove makes up for his tech ability. T.ypo
|
He's a good drummer, don't get me wrong.
But I don't think he has as much as a groove as anyother drummer. His drumming seems predictable, and every Chili's song is exactly the same. What I'm really impressed with is the Breaking the Girl. There are moments when Chad pulls of outrageous skills. But for the most part, he is like a popular Meg White IMO. |
no we did that to, not to the extent, the government just wants to sugar coat it acting like we are perfect and can do no wrong.
Excuse me? Do you have any idea what you are talking about? The Japanese struck FIRST. They Started the war. Pearl Harbor? Suprise bombing attack on a naval station? Hitler was on a crusade to create a master race. Killing and torturing people by RACE in the millions. The US responded to a outright attack on a military base. Slight difference there. |
I think he was mentioning like the Japanese camps in California or something?
|
Internment camps.
So my instructor thinks that I have the potential to become good enough at drums to be one of the backups for the Blue Man Group. The cool people in the back wearing the glow in the dark body suits? Yeah. |
^That is a very very odd comparison. Including the fact, you are a girl, the pre-req for Blue MAN Group is being a man.
Well be it wrong or right. They had no forewarning for the initial attack, it was the safe play to isolate anyone linked heavily to japan. Those people were given shelter, warm food and clothing... aside form being removed form their homes for a time, I do not recall any mistreatment towards them. They weren't starving, being burned, killed, tortured or experimented on for sure though. |
yes jos. i do know what i am talking about. and what i was on about was the damned interment camps.
|
Hahaha no you do not! To compare those camps to Hitler's Cocentration camps is absolutely insane.
You specifically reffered to "Killing". There was no killing done in those camps. |
The End of The World is Near........................
|
^That is a very very odd comparison. Including the fact, you are a girl, the pre-req for Blue MAN Group is being a man.
You only have to be a MAN to be one of the blue MEN. You do NOT, however, need to be a man, or 6 feet tall, to be one of the people in the back with the glowy suits that you don't see the faces or really bodies of anyway. |
Hmm yes, non the less. That is a very odd thing to compare too....
|
there was killing done in those camps, they were disease ridden, little food provided, though there was some. torturing, burning and such wasn't there, but there was killing. and i agree a safe move to make.
|
Hmm yes, non the less. That is a very odd thing to compare too....
But they're so cool. I saw a show in Las Vegas, and I think I watched them more than the actual Blue Men. The idea that I might even have a chance of ever doing that, even the slightest chance, is enthralling. |
^Oooh ok awesome I see now
Well, I can confidently tell you, you easily can be good enough. As to playing with them, that's a different matter itself. You can easily be good enough though... easily...
there was killing done in those camps, they were disease ridden, little food provided, though there was some. torturing, burning and such wasn't there, but there was killing. and i agree a safe move to make.
Then you dissagree with your previous statments. The Americans built those camps in direct response to a attack on Pearl Harbor. The American action in WWII toward the japanese was totally justified as the Japanese started the war, and vowed never to end it. Even after a atomic bomb was dropped. It took a second atomic bomb to get the Japanese to stop fighting a war they would never win. America would have never built those camps, or killed a single japense person, if JAPAN had not attacked. |
I'm working a 2 hour shift on thursday. Technically I'm only working for 1 hour, we have a staff meeting the second hour. Easy money for me.
And I get paid friday. That'll be 43.5 hours on there I believe. Finally, a paycheque. Haven't been paid in so long. Edit: What is it with n00bs and spreading everything on a drumkit as far apart as possible. Every day I go into work, I have to adjust everything to make it playable, then when someone asks if they can play the drums, the first thing they do is just spread everything as far apart as possible. I could see if maybe they were trying to imitate their favorite drummers setups or something, but I've never seen a pro with a setup like that. I haven't even seen an amateur player with a setup like that. It's completely uncomfortable, doesn't make sense, and I don't know where they get the influence from. It's a mystery. |
