hey whats up.
im thinking about going to america for the easter holidays, but i dont know where abouts in the US to go. ive narrowed it down to either New York, or somewhere in california. any ideas anyone? |
Calaifornia is so much cooler then NY.
|
hmmmm. where, specifically?
|
I personally love San Diego because its really chilled out there, and because I know I guy who owns a pretty cool guitar shop. But Los Angeles seems to be the place to be in SoCal, why with disney land and everything
|
what is SoCal?
|
Oooops sorry SoCal= Southern California
|
Kinda slow in the casual tonight even though all these people are on.

its like this all the time now. and hello. lowsound |
It restarts before i actually get into windows
Hmmm... does it always restart at the same time or just at any given time? It really sounds like your power supply is going. Or it could be that your processor is overheating. Make sure that your CPU fan is still attached correctly and working. |

its the power supply. lowsound |
Yeah, I'd say most likely it is, too. But it's surprising how often the CPU fan can sometimes just pop off the heatsink.
|
but the processor wouldn't over heat that fast. it would take at least 3 minutes for that to happen, and also if it happend a few times you would start to smell it.

Where do you live, RJD? I'm in So. Cal., and I hate it ;)

Hehe....
That reminds me. Once when I was in high school in the comp lab someone attached an audio cable for a cd drive to a power connector for a CPU fan. I've never seen a computer burst into flames so fast. |

No.
:D C'mon, give me a little credit. I think the dumbest thing I ever did was accidentally breaking a pin off the back of an old hard drive. Although I may have inadvertently zapped a stick of RAM at one point, but that was never verified. |
I was also responsible for the installation of Quake on about six 486's that we had. Study halls soon became known as "fraggin' time."
|
in computer class i acidently droped a brand new computer. it was all good tho.

My buddy was trying to plug in my speakers to the headphone jack in the front of my comp, but he was just pushing it around in a USB port. The comp flipped out, and this thing cam one telling me that the USB ports on the front had been disabled because they were shorting. out. Idiot firend.

We used to get to do whatever we wanted with old computers that would get donated.
One time we went outside with a bunch of old macs and threw stones at them. |
