I'll just withdraw my dibs if it's all the same to you:(
Damn, I wanted you to experience that album. It's seriously awesome. I apologize Eran.

sketchyjoe 07-02-2006 04:52 PM

Winamp plays m4a. And you should always use mp3. There is no difference and mp3 are more compatible.

obese_breasts 07-02-2006 07:20 PM

I need a good m4a to mp3 converter that isn't a trial version of something.

EDIT: I just did, WOO FOR CRACKS!

World Burns To Death 07-02-2006 07:21 PM

google

coheneran 07-02-2006 07:42 PM

I just got back from a county fair, first of the 3 fairs I attend every summer. My collection display (which I mentioned earlier, I think) got 1st place in my division! And I was watching people look at it and they really liked it, one little kid was glued to the glass just taking it all in, it felt good.

coheneran 07-02-2006 08:26 PM

Collection display of what? Keys? Buttons? McDonald's toys?

I knew someone who collects McDonald's toys. That's pretty much the only reason I don't know him anymore.

Brain Toad 07-02-2006 08:28 PM

Star Wars stuff.

There was a McDonalds collection, it was decent.

This year was my first year in the adult division and I get first, my dad has been doing his for a couple of years and got 3rd. Pwnt.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 07-02-2006 08:39 PM

Drunk punks walk distance.

coheneran 07-02-2006 08:39 PM

What was your dad's collection? Gook ears?

Brain Toad 07-02-2006 08:41 PM

Cars with flames, which is pretty much a subdivision of just his overall collection of diecast (toy) cars.

coheneran 07-02-2006 08:59 PM

Cool, Hot Wheel Racers are fun.

BostonBound988 07-02-2006 08:59 PM

Liebensaft 07-02-2006 09:58 PM

I went to one today at my mom's boyfriend's parents' house in the middle of nowhere. They own/operate an airfield and aviation museum. They've got a whole bunch of these old bi-planes in a hangar, and they were giving rides for $25 a head. I went up in one with them before, so didn't today.

I rode this little motorcycle (50cc I think) around the field though for awhile. It was awesome. It had a lot of power for such a small thing.

And the winner of geekiest post in the Community Thread...

Nice one Nick!

obese_breasts 07-03-2006 03:42 AM

I'd give him a plaque, but it doesn't seem like there would be any room to put it with all the star wars toys.

coheneran 07-03-2006 11:11 AM

They're NOT toys, they're models.

Liebensaft 07-03-2006 09:43 PM

OMG IT'S MX!!

Hi.

asdf 07-03-2006 11:49 PM

So MX has been down all day. What's with that?

Flagjacket 07-04-2006 12:00 AM

Ugh Taiwan is hot

I could be much geekier, trust me.
I'd give him a plaque, but it doesn't seem like there would be any room to put it with all the star wars toys.
I have room for a plaque. My figures actually don't take up much room, and most of my wall space is filled with posters, Star Wars and music related.
They're NOT toys, they're models.
No, they're toys. I don't try to hide the fact I collect toys, it's not a big deal for me.

I do have some Star Wars models, but I hate doing models, takes too much effort. So they just sit in their boxes.

Flagjacket 07-04-2006 12:17 AM

shut up

Brain Toad 07-04-2006 12:19 AM
shut up
What the fuck is your problem?

Ghostfire3 07-04-2006 01:28 AM

Why was MX down the whole day?

good rats 07-04-2006 09:12 PM

Cash's new album is incredible.

Liebensaft 07-04-2006 09:22 PM

Am I the only one who finds it weird when new albums come out from dead artists? I know it was recorded while he was alive, but it still seems weird that it's a new album...and he's dead.

Brain Toad 07-04-2006 09:32 PM
Why was MX down the whole day?
It wasn't, it was working fine for everyone, we just didn't post.
Cash's new album is incredible.
It is indeed.
Am I the only one who finds it weird when new albums come out from dead artists? I know it was recorded while he was alive, but it still seems weird that it's a new album...and he's dead.
Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. It's weird and stupid when it's just some crappy thing put together just to make some extra bucks because the person died. But with Cash and others, when it was known they were actively working on it until their death and it's finally released, it's nice.

coheneran 07-05-2006 05:34 AM

MX has been either down or super-slow for me in the last few days.

But, in happy happy news, I found a program to play those .m4a tracks, and I've had an amazing time listening to I Ain't Marching Anymore for about a day now. I remember the poem of The Highwayman from when I was littler, it's so sad. Also, his song about Jesus makes me want to be a Christian, or at least make a Jesus Wearing A Beret stencil and spray it on all my shirts. Jesus is so awesome. I've also started writing and playing guitar again, and getting up before 12. This is probably all because it started raining again. Too much sun is bad.

Jersey's Best Dancer 07-06-2006 11:02 PM

mx has been slow/down for almost the last week. I'm trying to get all my posting in while I still can.

AIRIC 07-07-2006 02:06 AM

I'm just up at 4AM with nothing to do :/

A girl just left though :D

coheneran 07-07-2006 04:51 AM

Airics you dog! What did you two do, and are there any piczors?

<3 Phil Ochs

sketchyjoe 07-07-2006 01:10 PM

I am pleased as I just bought 5 things at the supermarket, I had a £20 note, and it came to exactly £19.99.

coheneran 07-07-2006 07:27 PM

That is awesome!

For anyone in London tommorow (Saturday), there will be a festival in some street in Camden:

The King Blues

8 Jul 2006 21:00
Chalton Street, Camden, London,
Cost: free!!

Somers Town Festival Of Cultures, food, stalls, world music etc. THE KING BLUES will be playing live at 3pm!!

Danger Bird 07-10-2006 02:04 AM

I just quit my band for no real reason.

coheneran 07-10-2006 02:23 AM

Are you sad or happy?

I am happy because I had a shite weekend, but then I downloaded a Gogol Bordello album from foropunk and now I feel better.

Undestructable!

coheneran 07-12-2006 04:47 AM

YES!! We're back!

It won't be long before you hear the tin horns blow, so start wearing purple, wearing purple for me now, because we're positive hardcore.

That basically sums up what I've been listening to lately. Oh yes, I might get to see Gogol and Bedouin Soundclash's tour this summer, for free. Press pass, why do I love you so?
