omg i need a warwick now. at GC, i played a used green FNA jazzman with gold hardware, and corvette fretless. The jazzman had awesome tone, and the feel knocked me off my stool/seat. I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THE FEEL OF THAT BASS. haha. it was used and worn in tho, so it kinda had that "really comfortable old shirt" feel. And the fretless corvette? sex. pure sex. sliding chords up and down the neck? YES PLEASE. so im convinced i need to order a green fretless warwick of some kind. god i love GC.

Stop talking about Corvettes...

:upset:

Foxfire 03-21-2005 04:34 PM

Fretless Corvettes are cool, but they're pretty much the only Warwicks I really like.

Corvettes and Corvette Fretlesses are actually really nice.

The rest are only okay in my opinion.

Spaceman Spiff 03-21-2005 04:42 PM

I just learned the main riff to Jerry Was A Racecar Driver, it took me a whole 3-5 minutes to get down.

neal_672 03-21-2005 04:43 PM

Great riff :thumb:

It's a fun riff to just play idly. :)

Yman 03-21-2005 04:43 PM

the only ones they had there were the FNA jazz, corvettes, and thumbs. all good stuff.

but i forgot this was an off topic thread, i guess we should stop this whole on-topic bass crap.

Foxfire 03-21-2005 04:44 PM

Nah, we still periodically do that.

It's all good. :)

Those were my thoughts, back when I had not played a Corvette...

Juice - Apple, Orange
Pop - Coke, Mug Root Beer*, Dr. Pepper
Alcoholic - Jack Daniels

*Yes, it does matter which company's root beer, Mug makes the best. :thumb:

Yep.

I actually think the lead singers scream is extremely amusing. It actually sounds sorta cool, admittedly.
