Jaundice 10-10-2009 12:37 PM

JonG 10-10-2009 02:52 PM

everybody should download this. pete rocks bro, also a good producer with quality tracks

ATM 10-10-2009 03:43 PM

Grap Luva rules. He's from my area.

combustion07 10-10-2009 04:52 PM

So I'm listening to Arrested Development for the first time and it is awesome

Glitterati 10-10-2009 05:51 PM

The only song I know by them is Everyday People which is a cool song.

ATM 10-11-2009 09:54 AM

The new PUTS video/album is awesome.

kingsoby1 10-11-2009 10:09 AM

not a west coast fan, but i might listen

kingsoby1 10-11-2009 11:02 AM

we could use tinyurl to shorten all the links

edit: yeah let's do that, then put COTM/ AOTW in the 2nd post (illmitch's)

pixiesfanyo 10-13-2009 01:29 PM

yeah, surprisingly 'Street Hop' has bad beats.

kingsoby1 10-13-2009 01:37 PM

actually i like at least half of it... definitely better than slaughterhouse.

i'm at a 3.5 i think.

17 tracks is just toooo much ugh. they should have just cut it down to the good stuff :(

Jaundice 10-13-2009 01:40 PM

Only 17 tracks is conservative for a rap album

pixiesfanyo 10-13-2009 02:11 PM

yeah. i mean it isn't bad, just like why are half the tracks including the ones he already released on the Revival EP on there?

kingsoby1 10-13-2009 03:28 PM

yeah i didn't get that either.

i bet he doesn't even run the record by critic friends before dropping it. it could be the best release of his career bar none, if only he trimmed it down. instead, it's another decent hip-hop record by royce da 5'9

the guy has so much potential to drop a classic... it's so frustrating.

ATM 10-13-2009 04:01 PM

Any fans of Dagha? The Divorce is an insane album.

Txus 10-13-2009 04:05 PM
The new PUTS video/album is awesome.
Yes, it is. I've been listening to that Reakwon and Sole lately.

pixiesfanyo 10-13-2009 04:23 PM

'Death is Certain' is kind of a classic. Definitely the best thing out of that whole Shady debacle circa 2000 - 2004

kingsoby1 10-13-2009 08:15 PM

it's solid, but far from a classic i'd say. i like them about the same probably... maybe DIC a little better.

illmitch 10-13-2009 08:49 PM

never listened to much royce, ill have to give it a listen.

today i got the Z-Ro mixtape "Cocaine", i've been listening to that all day. need to burn a copy to go in my car.

Rams 10-13-2009 10:14 PM

Royce is as mundane and average as you get. Boom was more Premiere than him. Just too forgettable.

D12 mixtapes >> anything Royce has done.

pixiesfanyo 10-13-2009 10:37 PM

lol.

JonG 10-13-2009 10:42 PM

bar exam 1 was better than any d12 mixtape, thats a fact

but royce is better on mixtapes/other peoples songs :(

illmitch 10-13-2009 10:49 PM

who cares about royce when we can discuss z-ro the crooked

Jaundice 10-13-2009 10:55 PM

any one listen to smoothe da hustler?

Rams 10-13-2009 11:00 PM

No. D12 is at least funny, Royce does nothing.

Anyways, new/old DITC is bleh. Their beats are usually better.

niobium 10-14-2009 02:59 AM

I have a friend named Mike Pitt and he hooks up with a lot of girls so I thought it might be funny to call him Slick Pitt.

movies film

Wyko 10-14-2009 01:27 PM

Has anyone listened to the new Cormega yet? I'm interested, it's got Premo, Pete Rock, Large Pro and Havoc produced tracks, and I liked the Realness.

Also I'm really enjoying Something 2 Ride 2 off Royce's new album. Classic Premo beat.

Txus 10-14-2009 01:34 PM

Death is Certain is a pretty good record

Professor Frink 10-15-2009 05:38 PM

are there groups out there similar to bone thugs?
