This thread is for asking for recommendations, and replying to people's requests. Not Randomly recommending music. If you feel something must be recommended then use this post as a benchmark of what to do. In future find out what a thread is about before posting in it. I'm starting to think I should just post this on every page. And I'm not sure if you're advertising or not. We shall see... |

Thanks! |

Thanks!
Well I don't know much metalcore, but by those bands you'd probably like Lamb of God. Check out the songs Laid to Rest, 11th Hour, and Hourglass. What Metallica do you like? |
Could someone reccomend something like....a cross between Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer as long as the lyrics arent just screaming id probly like it

Anthrax, check out the songs Among the Living, Caught in a Mosh, and Efilnikufesin (NFL) Testament, check out Into the Pit, Disciples of the Watch, Practice What You Preach, and Sins of Omission Exodus, check out Piranha, Toxic Waltz, Tempo of the ****ed, and A Lesson in Violence. |
I like most of Metallica, Load, Reload and St. Anger are kinda $#!%, but apart from that I've liked all I've heard and I own the black album which is rad. I'll check out Lamb of God, oh and I've downloaded Follow The Reaper by Children Of Bodom which is great too.
Thanks dude, anybody else got any more suggestions? |

Everything Mathias said, and: Death Angel (similar to Anthrax) and Overkill (the best of Thrash bands, and it should be a good "go-between" of those bands) |

I dont know why but when I listen to Amorphis (I recently got into them) the first band to come to my mind is Demigod but you're probably already familiar with them. |
Can someone recommend me some slower softer music. I dont want something acoustic, but songs like nothing else matters, one (excluding distrortion and other stuff), Lord of the rings, iced earth - reaching the end, stairway to heaven, fear of the dark (slower part), etc.
