yes, I know it's a great thread.

PimpDaddyKabZ 12-16-2003 03:17 PM

Wow.....can't believe I haven't posted in this thread yet.

I really wished Metallica would put out a studio version of -Human, and No Leaf Clover.
Anyone know if they played any of those live without the orchestra?

NailHead 12-16-2003 04:35 PM

i don't know?

timmccarty143 12-16-2003 04:36 PM

if u listen to it no leaf clover w/o the symphony would suck b/c theres less "stuff" in it
and it would aslo be sweet cuz the symphonic stuffs gay (exept battery)

and for whoever wanted to know the video were they play in the warehouse thats "one" but the real question is whats the video that they used in the background with the guy in a coma that wanted to die cuz he was so alone
does ne one know this?

and also they dont play the good songs b/c society is gay and they didnt like leper messiah enough so they didnt become singles and metallica only really plays there singles

timmccarty143 12-16-2003 04:39 PM

and superpeer why didnt u try and sneak in, if u like em that much its worth a try

xtreme_skatah 12-16-2003 06:39 PM

Eh sonny! I already answered the question a few posts up! tsk, trying to steal my limelight :p

I do have a question though.....does anybody know the website where I can download the Fade To Black video from? I had it ages ago but changed computers....I remember it being something Anti-MTV, but its slipped my mind.

how do u turn them off?
I don't wanna be argueing with you, but have you listened to the drumming in Dyer's Eye :amaze:
as a good drummer i can definitely tell u AJFA is pretty easy to do drums. Disposable heroes is harder, and thats not very hard. The hardest drum song is Battery, the double bass is crazy n its exteremly sincopated on the fills. What do other drummers think is the hardest song

superpeer 12-18-2003 06:46 AM

Bumping is good

0000 12-18-2003 07:09 AM

If my drummers whinings are anything to go by then i can agree with ZildjianDummer that battery is very hard to play. I think the easiest Metallica song on the drums is "For Whom The Bell Tolls". Even I can play that, and I suck pretty bad.

kirk_wylde 12-18-2003 07:14 AM

Soz I don't know how It just said on the back of the DVD (I bought cunning stunts instead though, It was cheaper.

Oh and if anyone wants to go to the earls court concerts Ticketmaster.co.uk bought a load up and released them on wednesday. I'm going yay

Kosmos Tree 12-18-2003 07:17 AM

Battery is murder when you try to play it like it is on MoP, cymbal hit here, cymbal hit there... the double bass part is one of the easy parts of the song.

Ramsey 12-18-2003 07:24 AM

I wanna congratulate rides success in making this thread! :chug:

I'm going standing, if you were hXc like me you would have bought your tickets on the first day of the pre-sale...

defkennedys 12-18-2003 10:08 AM

with all the fuss bout st. anger not having solos,
did no1 think of no remorse? early stuff, heavy , no solo, ace song

Mustaine27 12-18-2003 10:11 AM

No Remorse has 2 solos. Every song from Kill 'Em All does, None from St. Anger do.

Metallica Fans like solos.

Metallica + No Solos = Gisgruntled Fans.

Ramsey 12-18-2003 10:15 AM

^ not to mention Metallicas solos are usually always memorable imo.

DBGOTD 12-18-2003 10:16 AM
^ not to mention Metallicas solos are usually always memorable imo.
And that nothing on St. Anger is memorable.
