So do ya'll like the FWTBT cover?

SuddenDemise 10-31-2005 05:43 PM

I love Trivium, I own every album, and I ****in love every song on them....They are one of the greatest bands out there right now....I have heard on several occasions and from many Metal Magazines that they are foretold to be the next Metallica....Which IMO is a possibility...though Metallica is still a better band by far....BTW "Dying in your Arms" is my favorite song by them....

Britton 10-31-2005 05:45 PM

Um well I'm not sure they'll be as main stream byt definatly
they are gonna be big for years to come

Haha, while I agree Pillar of Serpents is an amazing song, this is just hilarious.

Ur Crazy.

That is probably one of trivium's worst (if not THE worst) songs.

Britton 10-31-2005 05:47 PM

No it's not

not my favourite but still not a bad song

Turkish 10-31-2005 05:50 PM

I agree, compared to their other material, Dying in your Arms isn't the greatest. But I like it, it's really catchy.

I'd dunno when it comes to their best, Like Light to Flies, Fugue, A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation and Requiem come to mind.

i am the robots 10-31-2005 05:54 PM

I am like that with Dying In Your Arms as well, it's such a corny song, but it's just so fecking catchy.

Suicide_Punishment 10-31-2005 10:09 PM

Dont worry buddy. I think "Dying in your arms" Is One of my favs too. I recently got into them. Very good But not next Metallica Or Maiden like the Press Says. I m going to see them with Children of Bodom in December.

So am I!

you have to remember that Tallica were not mainstream
until Black album...so you never know what's gonna happen

mr black 11-01-2005 02:09 AM

Haha yeah its incredibly catchy one has to give it that, specially that bloody solo haha, Plus the lyrics kinda tell the story of me dumping my ex. Anyway has anyone else noticed how the riff at 3.07 of like light to flies just doesn't sound.... right with the solo and even a little bit with the drums. Just not good time melding. But then theres the awsome spanish sounding bit after, so it makes up for it.

Yea. Has anyone noticed that becoming popular?

mr black 11-01-2005 04:05 AM

Not really, im one of the only people i know thats heard of them.

benfan 11-01-2005 10:43 AM

trivium wont be the next metallica! they arnt gonna hire a **** producer sell out release crap and sue their fans.
the dying in your arms thing.....yeah its a good song, just not their best, the 'worst' song on ascendancy, my favourite is either fugue, requim, 'gunshot, or washing away me in the tides.

trivium are awesome live, i saw them in nottingham on the ascendancy tour and they owned!

The jazz metal flum 11-01-2005 12:32 PM

I saw Trivium and download, I like many other people there had never even heared of them. By the end of the day there were no more of they're t-shirts. The best part of that was when three circle pits opened up into each-other and I was in the middle of it all!!

TheSlayer 11-01-2005 01:43 PM

I love Trivium! Ascendancy is AMAZING. Anyone going to the next UK tour in March?? I AM:chug: Im going t CArdiff University to see them:thumb:

mr black 11-01-2005 03:24 PM

Why won't they come to Australia already dagnamit ! although bring on Metallica again, and possibly Machine head... if i see these 3 live i'd be a happy panda.

Turkish 11-01-2005 04:27 PM

I'd love to see Machine Head sometime, my brother went and saw then after the release of The Burning Red and said they were ace live.

TheSlayer 11-02-2005 10:32 AM

I can't wait 'till the trivium pit i'm gonna die lol! Mendeed was ***ing brutal enough!! Oh well in two weeks it's the Killswitch engage pit for me!

deathscreamingsheep 11-02-2005 11:48 AM

Mendeed kick severe ***. I wouldn't surprised if their pits were nasty anyway: aggressive and crazy scotsmen mixed with metalcore savagery...

TheSlayer 11-02-2005 12:12 PM

Their double bass made the whole Wulfrun hall shake:evil:

Britton 11-02-2005 03:43 PM

Dude I'd like to hear some live stuff

So Trivium has a really really good site

TheSlayer 11-06-2005 10:47 AM

Yeah lol. I like the cursor! It's a rock on sign instead of a normal white hand.

-The Frank 11-09-2005 03:49 AM

Guys, I need an answer to a question:

What is, in your opinions, the hardest and easiest (whole) song to play (by Trivium) on guitar?

I'm just interested, I can already play a few riffs etc, these guys are good, let me tell you that.

By the way, I am not a guitar n00b.

mr black 11-09-2005 03:56 AM

hardest - ember to inferno (from what i've tried, possibly decleration)
easiest - dying in your arms... derrr
