123, just let those who don't understand fall away. They'll drop it shortly.

I'm trying to make the YSI thread a bit more organized by collecting everyone's requests, writing them down, and then making a single post of those who have not received their requests.

Hopefully this will make things better for the thread. Any other suggestions for it?

LarsAgi007 04-11-2005 02:39 PM

I will drop it when i find out mr!!! lol

Illmatic 04-11-2005 02:40 PM
Obviously not lol, Would you say i was making a big mistake??? or a huge mistake??

Or am i way off target??? Explain lol
I need your assistance you have more experience... :thumb:
A huge mistake.

Dude, you're 17.

Do you have a permanent residence? And no, your parents' house doesn't count.
Do you have a job? Do you plan on going to college?

Are you ready to support yourself and a wife, both financially and emotionally?

You're 17, you have no idea what love is, you have no idea what you want or need in a woman and in a relationship. Sounds like you're just getting hitched to the first girl who fucked you.

Your YSI thread is organized much better than the Trading over AIM thread, well done :)

Jom 04-11-2005 02:42 PM

I'm going to be Dr. Phil for a minute and be incredibly direct:

I find it extremely hard to believe that you can handle the responsibilities you supposedly are undertaking. Of course, I'm judging by the content of your posts:

You have no home, no permanent shelter, can you even provide for your fiancee? What do your parents have to say?

3. Yes i do drive (Only i need a car) lol
4. No, college is pointless....
5. I am 17, i have been with her for 3 years, i do understand what love is

You cheeky Bugger :p
But seriously, well done. Collecting all the un-answered requests into a post is a good idea.

Dried Muffin Remnants 04-11-2005 02:45 PM

On another note, why are people my age such idiots?

(I'm 17)

Illmatic 04-11-2005 02:45 PM

When did I mention anything about driving?

You didn't answer one of my main questions.

And no, you don't understand what love is. Many people who are infinitely smarter and more mature than you are (like me) do not understand it completely.

LarsAgi007 04-11-2005 02:46 PM

Seem to be taking all what very well???

ATM 04-11-2005 02:46 PM

I'm 19, have been with the same girl for over 2 years, and am still confused about love.

Its almost impossible to understand, its as simple as that, and besides, Love is only a feeling some say.. We all have our own views on what love is, and when i get that warm loving feeling when she is near me, and when she makes me happy, in my eyes that is love,,,,

He's talking about you.

But really guys, back off, this guy has a job, if he has been with her for three years he obviously loves her, it's not really up to you all to judge him.

lunch998 04-11-2005 02:49 PM

Why don't you guys get off his case about it. Don't worry about how he's doing it, thousands of people manage in situations like his.

Illmatic 04-11-2005 02:49 PM

I still think he's making a huge mistake. Teenagers rarely know what they're doing.

lunch998 04-11-2005 02:50 PM
I still think he's making a huge mistake. Teenagers rarely know what they're doing.
If he is, then he'll find that out that hard way. Until then we can't know.

ATM 04-11-2005 02:51 PM

It's worked before, yes, but it just seems so young to commit yourself to somebody and start a family.

superpeer 04-11-2005 02:51 PM
I still think he's making a huge mistake. Teenagers rarely know what they're doing.
If he's happy with all of that, why would you bitch about it?
People can be happy without going to college and make loads of money, you know.
I still think he's making a huge mistake. Teenagers rarely know what they're doing.
I agree with you that teenagers do often make mistakes, but its mistakes that we all learn from, and it is problems that we all overcome making us stronger.
Besides, not everything i do will be a mistake, it may turn out great, as of course i would hope.

lunch998 04-11-2005 02:52 PM

I wouldn't do it, but some people feel like they're ready for it I guess.

Illmatic 04-11-2005 02:53 PM
If he's happy with all of that, why would you bitch about it?

When did I say he needed to go to college or make a lot of money? I just wanted to know if he could actually support a wife emotionally and financially. He just doesn't seem to take it all that seriously.

Dried Muffin Remnants 04-11-2005 02:55 PM
Testosterone/Estrogen going haywire, growing older and experimentation, etc.

I'm mature enough to handle it. But I'm 17! I don't want to support my family by working overtime at Mickie D's! It might feel right emotionally, but why get yourself and your future family into such financial trouble. It's irresponsible.

I apologise if i have made you feel that way, but i really do take all of this seriously, and once again, sorry if i have given you the impression i am not.
As a matter of fact, you brought up some very vital points.

pigonthewing82 04-11-2005 02:56 PM

Meh it I say it doesn't really matter much as long as hes happy. I wish you guys the best of luck :)

I still have a bad feeling about this.

Call me cynical, but I just don't think anyone is ready to start a family when they're 17.

I downloaded Lost Cause last night in the comm thread, so thank you :)

Others will be interested, I'm sure. Thanks for contributing.
What'd you think of it?

And I edited it out of my post :upset:

I thought you could only upload things people requested.

I did listen to the song... and it does apply to me sort of like that. It's hard to explain, but thanks, though.

Well, I'd call anyone who think's that insane.

Illmatic 04-11-2005 03:00 PM

You said the lyrics, not the whole song though..meh.

Did you think it was a good song, at least?

Jom 04-11-2005 03:01 PM

Oh no, you can randomly upload something, so long as you give a brief explanation as to why you did so.

It's in the rules... even though no one reads them :-\

Well, as i say, i am not stating that i am really trying for a familly, its more or less the case of, we did try, but obviously a problem accured with our child, But from my experience i must say, i did seem to handle everything really well, as did my partner, and now i would say we were both 38% more prepared, as we know what to expect.

I'm too cool to read the rules :upset:

I e-mailed it to myself, so I could just put it back up, though.

I uploaded it for him
